Roman “Newspaper” Project
Directions: You will be working in your groups and each group will create a “newspaper” on
Google Slides. Your “newspaper” must include three of the six newspaper sections. Each group
member will be required to produce at least one article for the newspaper. Articles must be in
your own words with sources properly cited and include pictures (sources can be citied at the
end of each article, or you can have a bibliography page for the groups clearly identifying
sources for each article.)
Cutting and pasting will earn you a zero for the assignment. You will have one day of class time
to research and organize your project. The rest will have to be done at home.
One group member will be responsible for emailing the final project to me by Thursday
evening. My email is lindbergr@wawm.k12.wi.us. Make sure to include all of your group
member’s names and your hour in the “Subject” heading before you send your email. You will
be graded individually so the purpose of the group portion of the project is for you to become a
well-rounded historian in regards to Ancient Rome.
