PLATINUM PACKAGE: £100 will include the Supreme Championship, very special
rosettes with wording of your choice printed on tails, for the champion, reserve
champion, trophy. Promotional products at the show office and on our facebook page.
Prime spots for banners and free pitch for a stall if you wish.
GOLD PACKAGE: £75 will include 5 classes with rosettes 1st-6th printed with your
choice of wording printed on the tails for all 3 classes. Select your classes and the
colours of your rosettes(new for the summer show). Banners may be hung as well.
SILVER PACKAGE: £55 will include our very unique Champion and Reserve
Champion Rosettes, with wording of your choice printed on the tails, and a trophy for
the championship of your choice. Banners may be hung as well.
BRONZE PACKAGE: £50 will include 3 classes with rosettes 1st-6th printed with
your choice of wording printed on the tails for 3 classes. Select your classes and the
colours of your rosettes (new for our summer show). Banners may be hung as well.
CLASS SPONSORSHIP: £15 one class with your choice of wording printed on the
tails. Mentioned in the list of class sponsors in catalogue.

Rules
All persons competing or attending the Eastern Miniatures show are subject to the following rules
which must be obeyed at all times by all persons attending the show
1. Once an entry has been made, no fees will be refunded without a vet/doctors certificate.
2. The judge’s decision is final. Any objections must be made in writing to the show secretary within
30mins of the incident and be accompanied by a deposit of £10.00 refundable only if the objection is
upheld.
3. AT ALL TIMES when mounted, riders MUST wear correctly fastened protective headgear to BS EN
1384, PAS015 or ASTM F1163 standards.
4. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any class or the showground
5. All dogs must be kept on leads.
6. Children’s age is to be taken on the date of the show.
7. No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible, to compete or be prepared to
compete, in any competitions without taking adequate precautions to ensure that other members of the
public are not put at risk of injury.
8. Stallions and Colts may be led by a child as long as the child is competent, if the judge considers the
child not in control they may ask for the exhibit leave the ring
9. Please do not muck out your lorry/trailer onto the fields.
10. Please take your litter home with you or use the bins provided.
11. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, and prohibited around the stables.
12. All bookings of the centre, once confirmed, are liable to a 50% cancellation fee should they be
moved or cancelled.
13. Eastern Miniatures reserve the right to cancel, add or amend any of the competitions as they see fit,
due to weather conditions etc.
14. Children must be under adult supervision at all times.
15. All horses/ponies must only move through areas shared with pedestrians at walk.
16. Neitherp Overa Farm Stud, nor any of its representative or staff shall be held liable for any
accident, injury, damage or loss what-so-ever.
17. Any animal showing signs of disease or illness will be asked to leave the show ground immediately
18. Please conduct yourself in a courteous manner, any abuse to person or animal will not be tolerated
and will be asked to leave the showground.
19. ANY person whether spectator or competitor, that has been banned for any other Miniature
affiliated show within the last 2 years will not be allowed on to the showground.
20. Competitors are advised to have public liability insurance
21. Any complaints must be taken up with the secretaries with a deposit of £40 within 20 minutes of
the incident.
22. This show will be run with the MHCGB code of conduct in mind and any one banned from
MHCGB will not be permitted to attend any Eastern Miniatures Events.
23. NO lunging in collecting rings.
SPSBS Affiliated Rules
1.Classes must be confined to registered ponies. Ponies must be named on the entry form and in the
catalogue if one is produced. Society rosettes must only be given to ponies registered with the society
or eligible for registration (ie foals)
2. Three year old fillies with foals at foot may not be shown. All foals must be a minimum of 3weeks
old on the day of the show.
3.There must be no colts or entire males in young handler classes. Children under 14years old may not
show colts(excluding foals) or entire males in Inhand classes. Children under 11years old on the day of
the show may not show entire males in ridden classes. In the interests of safety, hard hats must be worn
by all handlers aged 14 years and under. Hard hats must be worn by all exhibitors, irrespective of age
in ridden classes. In the ridden classes, if a rider falls off at any time whilst in the ring, both pony and
rider must leave the ring, rider dismounted and take no further part.
Qualifers
IMHPS- 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class are qualified for the Miniature Horse of the Year Show to be
held in October 2015. All exhibits have to be owned by Members of IMHPS and registered with
IMHPS.
MHCGB- 1st,2nd and 3rd in each class will qualify for the Miniature Horse Club of Great Britain
Championship show at Oakridge Arena 2015. Horses must be registered with MHCGB before the
show. Will apply to miniature horses and miniature Shetlands under 38”
Royal LondonFirst, second and third placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will
qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show in
2014/15. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will
enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are,
or become registered with the International Showing Society within 28 days of the qualifying

Southern Miniatures-1st , 2nd and 3rd in each class will qualify for the Posh Nags Southern Miniatures
Finals held within Equifest on the 16th August 2015 and the Kent Championship Gala, 12th/13th
September, held at Rooting Street Farm, Little Chart, Kent. Will apply to miniatures and Shetlands.
Think Pink- **Diamond Show** all class winners qualify for the Think Pink Finals, 5 th September
2015. Norton Heath EC, Essex.
Best of Best Championship- All champions, reserve champions, supreme, reserve champion and 1 st
reserve champion all qualify for the Missina Showcase of Champions Best of the Best championship
2016
Ring 1 – to start approx 8.30am

Class 1- Refined Yearling- Arabian or Thoroughbred type under 34”
Class 2- Refined 2&3 year old- Arabian or Thoroughbred type under 34”
Class 3- Refined 4 years +- Arabian or Thoroughbred type under 34”
Class 4- Refined Cat B- Arabian or Thoroughbred type 34- 42” any age.
Class 5- Middleweight Yearling- Horses under 34”
Class 6- Middleweight 2&3 Year old- Horses under 34”
Class 7- Middleweight 4 years +- Horses under 34”
Class 8- Middleweight Cat B - Horses 34- 42”, any age.
Class 9- Scaled Down Hack Type - Horse under 38” resembling a scaled down Thoroughbred/Arabian usually
shown in the refined section, scaled down version of a show pony or hack type
Class 10- Scaled Down Hunter Type - Horse under 38” resembling a scaled down hunter/show hunter, usually
shown in the middleweight section, should be slightly heavier in bone but still quality
Class 11- American Miniature Horse (AMHA) - horse registered with the American Miniature Horse
Association, under 34” at the last mane hair. Please provide your AMHA number on the entry form so we can confirm
registration
Class 12- American Blend – horses that are 50% AMHA, ie one parent is a registered American Miniature Horse,
Class 13- Falabella – Should have both parents traceable back through parentage to the Falabella ranch in Argentina
but horses with at least 80% blood are eligible for this class. Under 38”
Class 14- Falabella Blend – Minimum of 25% Falabella blood, one parent should have a sire or dam line traceable
back to the Falabella ranch. Under 38”
Class 15- British Bred – horses with British breeding, including British spotted ponies, British miniatures and
Shetland ponies. Under 42”
Class 16- Solid Colour – Bay, Chestnut, Black, Grey etc. Facial markings, socks or stockings are acceptable. Under
42”
Class 17- Broken Colour – Pintos, Overos, and Toveros. Under 42”
Class 18- Spotted – Blanket, Leopards etc will include pintalossas, under 42”
Class 19- Other Colour – Silver dilutes, Cream dilutes, Roans, Duns etc, under 42”

Class 20- 2 From Same Breeder – 2 horses with the same prefix, can be owned by different people. Under 42”,
any type.
Class 21- 2 By Same Dam/Sire – 2 horses either by the same sire or out of the same dam, Under 42”, any type.
Class 22- Exclusive Eastern Miniatures Member Yearling – open to any type, under 38”, must hold
an Eastern Miniatures Membership 2015 card.
Class 23- Exclusive Eastern Miniatures Member 2&3 year old – open to any type under 42”, must
hold an Eastern Miniatures Membership 2015 Card
Class 24- Exclusive Eastern Miniatures Member 4 year old + - open to any type under 42”, must
hold an Eastern Miniatures Membership 2015 Card
Class 25- Home Produced – horse must be produced, owned and shown by the owner. Open to all types under 42”
Class 26- The Eastern Miniatures Restricted Award – this class is for horses and owner/handler not to
have won a Supreme, Reserve or 1st Reserve Supreme within the past 12 months. Open to any breed, type and age. Special
rosettes will be awarded 1st to 6th, under 42”
Ring 2 – to start approx 9am

Class 27- Heavyweight Yearling – horses under 34” may include Shetlands
Class 28- Heavyweight 2&3 year old – horses under 34” may include Shetlands

Class 31- Cob – Scaled down cob type, may include Shetlands, under 42”
Open Shetlands
Open Shetland classes, ponies may be registered with any registry, society or
studbook. However you must choose between the open classes or the SPSBS classes
if you have an SPSBS pony, you may not compete in both sections

everyone, a little something for everyone can be found in this section! This
classes will run quickly so please listen out for the class number.
Class 41 – Newcomers – strictly for those competitors that have never shown at Eastern Miniatures before. Any type
under 42”
Class 42- Novice Handler – handler any age that has not won a class at a miniature show before the day of the
show. Under 42”, any type.
Class 43- Novice Horse – horse not to have won a class at a miniature show before the day of the show. Under 42”,
any type.
Class 44- Young Handler 10 years and under – horses under 42”, any type.
Class 45- Young Handler 11-16 years – horses under 42”, any type.
Class A- Fancy Dress – horses under 42”, any type
Class 46- Gelding – open to any type, under 42”
Class 47- Ultra Mini – horses not expected to mature higher than 30”, any type.
Class 48- X Factor – Judged on the horse with the most presence, enter the ring at trot, any type, under 42”
Class 49- Best Head – horses under 42”, any type.
Class 50- Prettiest Mare – horses under 42”, any type.
Class 51- Handsomest Gelding/Stallion – horses under 42”, any type.
Class 52- Best Matched Pairs – horses under 42”, any type.
Class 53- Best Turned Out Clipped – any type under 42”
Class 54- Best Turned Out Natural – any type under 42”
Class 55- Broodmare Returning to the Ring – a mare that bred a foal or multiple foals, any type under 42”
Class 56- Horse or Pony The Judge Would Like to Take Home – any type under 42”
Class 57- Horse Most Like Owner – any type under 42”
Class 58- Rescue Pony – must be a pony that have been rescued either from a rescue centre or privately and owners
will be asked for a short story and may show a photograph. Any type under 42”
Class 59- Veteran – any type under 42” and over 15 years in age.
Class 60- Thelwell Pony – under 42”
Class 61- Longest Mane and Tail – any type under 42”
Class 62- Lorry Dog – open to any dog and a reward to the best dog and best bitch
Class 63- The Ultimate Bling Class – this is a chance to bring out the bling, we want to see you and your
horses dripping is anything sparkly, from the classy to the ridiculous! If you think you can walk round the ring in your sparkly 6”
heels then feel free to do so. Nice sparkly rosettes will be rewarded.
Class B- The Eastern Miniatures Foal Championship – open to any foal from 2015, must be a
minimum of 2 months, any foal under 4 months must be shown with its mother. Any type mini or shetland.
Class 64- Concours D’elegance – back to elegance! This class may be entered either inhand, driven or ridden.

Class 72- Open Best Ridden – open to any type under 42” as long as the horse can take the weight of a rider, hats
must be worn. Open to lead rein and non lead rein riders. Please note you do not need an SPSBS pony to compete in this
class.

Driving classes will commence at approximately 3pm
Class 73- Novice Driving – any type driven to either American or British carriage, horse not to have won in a
driven class prior to the day of the show, under 42”
Class 74- Driven Miniature Horse – any type of miniature driven to American or British carriage, under 38”
Class 75- Driven Shetland – any Shetland driven to any carriage, under 42”
The Eastern Miniatures Driving Championship- 1st to 2nd from classes 73-75
Ring 4
These class will run for 3 hours and can be entered at the ring on the day. Don't be afraid to have a go!
Class 76- Hunter Jumper – open to any type. Small course of jumps to be a max of 60cm, judged on number of
faults and time, under 42”. Will run 9am til 11am, results will be called and presented at 11am.
Class 77- Halter Obstacle – open to any breed or type, and be held in the outdoor school (weather permitting)
Under 42”. To be judged on time. Will run 12pm til 3pm, results will be called and presented at 3pm.
Evening Performance- to start at 4.30pm to be held in the main arena
Class 78- Liberty – horses have 2 minutes to show off their paces to selected music, 30 secs to catch your horse once
the music stops, please make sure you provide your music at the secretary on the day in plenty of time
Class 79- High Jump – let's see who can go the highest, just a bit of fun before the championships kick off !
