relationships with other women. January event will be Table Talk:
Topics will focus on: Health/wellness tips; Healthy recipes; Favorite
devotional. Come share ideas & insight. Healthy snacks will be
provided. Be encouraged to start your New Year right. Feel free to invite
your friends.

Church Library News: We have a large variety of books and DVD's for your
winter enjoyment. Also, please check your shelves and drawers for books or
DVD's that have not been returned so others may borrow them. Thank you and
see you in the library!!
For the month of January, the kids ministry and youth ministry will be in
competition to raise money for our church missionary George Goff.
Encourage your kids to give to George who serves as a missionary air plane
pilot.
Do your kids come to Wednesday nights? Are they in 5th grade or below?
There will be a short Parent meeting right after church on January 10th held in
the front of the sanctuary. Please make plans to come to one of these
meetings. We need to get your child signed up for a session and let you know
what's going on in our Wed night program!
FEED OUR YOUTH! It almost time for our youth impact teens to head to
Winter Retreat at Cran-Hill Ranch! It's a time of worship, fun, games, memory
making and spiritual growth for our youth. Would you be willing to donate some
snacks or drinks to send with them on their retreat? If so, there is a sign up
sheet on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall. Donations can be left in the
youth room between now and January 21st. We appreciate your support!

Would you be willing to bake a dessert to serve with a Wednesday Night
Meal? We have groups of people volunteering to serve the meals, but would
love to have the desserts baked and donated by the congregation! We have
been serving about 100 people every Wednesday. It is a great outreach to our
kids and our community. The signup sheet is on the bulletin board in the
fellowship hall. Thanks!
COLLEGE ENCOURAGEMENT MINISTRY – We are featuring Olivia Nelson
as our student of the week. Please take time to send Olivia a card of
encouragement at 4046 Calder Dr. Apt. 234 W. Niemeyer, Allendale, MI
49401. I am sure Olivia is a very busy young lady and would really appreciate
hearing from all of us. God bless you Olivia.
Are you interested in the issue of human trafficking? Do you want to learn
ways you can make a difference in our area? If your answer is Yes, come join
in a Love Does Bible study starting Monday, Jan 18. It will be here at Rehoboth
at 5:30pm. This is a 5 week study. We will be working on ways to make a

Kids Hope Mentors and Prayer Partners. The Regional Conference is
scheduled for January 30, 2016 at the First Evangelical Church in Grand
Rapids. I need to register anyone that wants to attend soon. Please call or text

everyone a copy of the sessions that will be available.
Financial Peace University--not your typical money class- it's practical,
entertaining, and fun. During the class, you will learn how God intended us
to manage money from Dave Ramsey, a renowned financial adviser, radio
host, and best-selling author. The class will meet on Wednesday evenings
at 6 pm starting January 27, and finishing March 23. You are welcome to
attend one of the FREE previews on Wednesday, January 20, at 6 pm or
Sunday, January 24 at 11 am to learn more about the class. The cost for
the class is $85 (a $15 discount!), which covers you, your spouse, and any
teenagers living in your home. You will receive a book, workbook, budget

Help commemorate Sanctity of Human Life Sunday by attending a special
memorial service sponsored by Wexford/Missaukee Right to Life on behalf of
the 53 unborn babies lost to abortion in Wexford & Missaukee counties in 2014.
The Service will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church located at 800 W. 13th
Street in Cadillac on Sunday, January 17th at 2:00 pm. A memorial candle
lighting and refreshments will follow the service. ”Joining Voices on Behalf of
Those Without One”.
Come and be equipped Saturday, Jan 23 at 9:00 am in the fellowship hall
through Faith Based Partners Training. Topics being covered: The Affects
of Trauma, How to connect and Mentor, Availability of Community
Resources, Secondary Trauma on those who help. This is an informal
gathering and the training will be worth your time. You can let Mark
Scholten know if you plan to come or just show up.
The McBain backpack program meets weekly to pack 94 bags of food for the
weekend for those in need. We pack 2 breakfasts, 4 meals and 6 snacks. Our
goal is to send a jar of peanut butter and jelly home once a month. Would you
be willing to help by donating jars of peanut butter and jelly? We would
appreciate these in plastic jars. There is a box by the mailboxes for your
donation. Thank you so much from the McBain Backpack program.
Precious Gems Home for Women is in need of volunteers. Precious Gems
is a long term home for young women located in Cadillac. The home has a
house parent that lives with the girls, but they are in need of volunteers. If you
are interested in helping mold the lives of young women in our community
please consider helping Precious Gems. We are always looking for mentors
and budget advisors to meet with our girls once a month to once a week. We
have several other needs such as teaching the girls to garden, canning, sewing,
and basic cleaning. Please prayerfully consider partnering with Precious Gems.

who are in nursing or health care facilities. They are Loy VanderVeen at Green
Acres, Bill Schaaf & Gert Marcus at Autumnwood, Clara Kuipers & Marian
Longstreet at Currie House, Stena Schepers at Maple Ridge Living Center and
Esther DeRuiter and Edna Shoobridge.
Continue to pray for Peggy Swiger who is undergoing radiation treatments.
Phyllis Liedeke will be having surgery on Monday to put in a port and Tuesday
will have surgery for cancer in Grand Rapids.
Marian Longstreet has been moved to the Curry House in Cadillac and is under
Hospice Care.
We extend our sympathy to the family & friends of Mary Peterson who passed
away last Sunday. Mary is a daughter to Clara Kuipers, sister to Jim & Arlene
Eisenga, Daryl & Jan Peterson, Harv & Ev Lucas and wife of Doug Peterson.

away on Monday.
IGNITE
Ignite is Rehoboth Reformed Church's Middle School (6th-8th) Student
Ministry reaching to inspire a community of young disciples to enjoy loving and
serving God, in a safe environment.

2016. Join us for a weekend of broomball, ice wall climbing, gaga ball, worship,
and great sessions.

Church’s High School Student Ministry, designed for students to grow in their
personal relationship with Christ by worshiping, praying, building relationships,
studying God’s Word in a new way, and creating a willingness to serve.
