What is the Uplift Child Nutrition program? The Child Nutrition Program (CNP) is an important part of all Uplift schools. We provide exciting, nutritious, and delicious meals to scholars which fuel them for a full day of learning and physical activity. Breakfast & Lunch Uplift Education schools participate in the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program. Full price meals are $1.60 for breakfast and $2.70 for lunch. Scholars may qualify for free or reduced price meals (prices shown in table below) if your family meets the income eligibility guidelines. Some of our campuses may provide free breakfast for our scholars. Check with your school if they participate in this program. Paper applications will also be available at each campus but we encourage online application for fast processing. Prepayments Prepayments for meals are required for all scholars. Please review the menus with your scholar to determine which meals they will eat through our cafeteria. Pre-payments should be made each month. You may also create an account for your scholar online at www.myschoolbucks.com. Through this system, you can monitor your scholar’s lunch balance and make deposits. Your scholar will receive a note, email and/or phone call when their account balance is low or negative. Menus Uplift menus are designed with health, wellness, and fun in mind. Our menus contain a wide variety of items including whole grains, lean proteins such as chicken and turkey, 1% and fat free milk, fresh fruits and vegetables each day.
