Prom 2013: “A Red Carpet Affair”

Braddock Hills High School Junior/Senior Prom at Grandview Golf Club on Friday, May 17.
We have read, discussed and understand the rules governing this event and agree to abide by them.
1. Prom tickets cost $30 per person, which includes a full buffet meal. Tickets are on sale every morning
from 7:30am – 7:45am and during all lunches in Ms. Sanker’s room during the week of May 7-10 as well
as May 13-14. The ABSOLUTE deadline to purchase a Prom ticket is Tuesday, May 14 or until they are
sold out. NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. Tickets are non-transferable – you may not trade or sell your ticket. NO REFUNDS FOR TICKETS.
3. You may invite (1) one guest only. Each guest must have the permission from their school with the
signature of the principal. This signature form is on the back of this form. STUDENT MAY NOT BRING
GUESTS WHO ARE 21 YEARS OLD OR OLDER. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. All guests must abide by all Propel Braddock Hills High School policies while attending the Prom. This
includes NOT smoking, consuming alcoholic beverages, using illegal drugs or any other behavior deemed
unacceptable by administration and supervising chaperones. If any unacceptable behavior is exhibited,
students may be reprimanded, up to and including removal from Prom.
5. You must arrive with your guest to Prom. You must arrive no later than 7:30 PM. Once inside
Grandview Golf Club, you will not be permitted to go outside. If an emergency arises, you must be
escorted by a Constable, an Administrator or Chaperone. NO EXCEPTIONS.
6. You and your guest must conduct yourselves in an appropriate manner and abide by all Propel
Braddock Hills High School Code of Conduct rules. Suggestive dancing, public displays of affection,
horseplay and profanity are not acceptable behaviors and are subject to disciplinary action. Failure to
behave appropriately will result in you being asked to leave the premises and your parents/guardians
will be immediately notified.
7. If you or your guest (from another school) are placed on Out-of-School or In-School Suspension prior
to the Prom during the month of May, you will not be allowed to participate in any Prom activities. NO
REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.
8. Please make sure that you have arranged for transportation. The Prom is scheduled from 7pm
through 11pm. Administration will close down the DJ and dancing area at 10:55 pm. You and your guest
should be off the premises by no later than 11:15 pm.
9.The Dress Code for the Prom is formal. You are expected to adhere to the following dress code as
outlined below. Students/Guests will be turned away if not properly attired. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Gentlemen:
 Collared shirt with tie
 Dress shoes (no tennis or athletic style shoes. Boots must be dress boots)
 Dress slacks and jacket (suit or tuxedo)
 Tee shirts, jeans, costumes or other non-formal attire will not be permitted. Shirts and shoes
must be worn at all times – pants must be worn at the waist and no underclothing or bare
chests are to be displayed.
Ladies:
 Long dresses/gowns and dress shoes.
 Dresses/gowns may be strapless and may feature spaghetti straps, but should not be too
revealing.
 Open backs are acceptable as long as they do not exceed the waistline; however, bare stomachs
or midriffs are not permitted.
 Under garments should not be visible.
 See through apparel and slits that exceed the mid-thigh area are not permitted. Garments that
are extremely tight or extremely low-cut are not permitted.

As a guest to the prom, you are required to abide by the same rules as above and have a principal sign
as a character reference. This FORM is DUE by May 15th. NO EXCEPTIONS
