Audubon Adventures REMINDER - FREE resource for teachers in Grades 4
and 5
The Audubon Society Chapters of Volusia County are sponsoring FREE
subscriptions to Audubon Adventures' digital lessons which include three readyto-print student editions with engaging science text, video and live webcam
access, six e-Newsletters, lesson plans for classroom and field-based activities,
and so much more! Please see the attached flyer for further information about all
the resources you will receive.
And did I mention this is all FREE???!!!
So, how do you request this FREE subscription?
(1) Find your school in the list on page 2 of the attached flyer.
(2) Click on the email address of your Audubon Chapter Representative
and provide the following information:

Your Email Address
(3) Make this request by end-of-day on Friday, November 21.

District Science PLC: Session 2 Right Around the Corner!
Attention Principals: We are meeting again as a District Science PLC. Please
rally your 4th and 5th grade teachers around the idea of gathering to collaborate
with their peers. We will be exchanging instructional and assessment ideas for
our upcoming content of Matter, Energy, and Forces and Motion. Teachers in
both groups will also be sharing strategies and hints that not only apply in
science but across all content areas. All who come are always glad they did; it
will be time well-spent. PD points will be awarded. Sign up at the PLC.
