The 2015-2016 Biology Undergraduate Scholars ProgramHonors Research (BUSP-HR) The Biology Undergraduate Scholars Program-Honors Research (BUSP-HR) is for outstanding Junior- and Senior-level undergraduate students in biology to pursue intensive, faculty-supervised research. Applicants must be registered UC Davis undergraduates and must have continuing student status during the quarter(s) in which the research is conducted. Participation is contingent on students identifying a faculty sponsor by the beginning of fall quarter. If you require assistance finding a lab placement please contact the Program Director as soon as possible. Because the program is intended to provide an opportunity for intensive research, students are required to be commit 10-15 hours of time per week to their research, for which they may receive units (to be arranged with the faculty mentor). Students are also required to enroll in BIS 198 (1 unit, pass/no pass) each quarter.
