Position requires incumbent to work on user interface software applications. Incumbent must possess development
skills in requirements definition, design, implementation, and have a passion for producing innovative quality
products. Incumbent must be familiar and comfortable in all phases of the development lifecycle. The incumbent is
expected to have the skills to lead, coordinate, organize, and manage a small team of peers to accomplish business
and technical goals.
Job Description

















Accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate good documentation discipline.
Complete assigned tasks on-time and in accordance with the appropriate process.
Creatively and proactively address problems and find algorithm improvements.
Participate in technical reviews to ensure product quality.
Find creative solutions to broadly defined problems or directives.
Analysis of marketing requirements.
Participate in and/or lead design efforts.
Create and test quality software personally and as part of a team.
Foster good communication inside and outside the development team.
Lead technical reviews of project software deliverables.
Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks.
Estimate time and effort on projects and tasks.
Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct
It is the responsibility of every Spacelabs Healthcare employee to report to their manager or a member of senior
management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence
of the problem.
Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Job Qualifications







Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Development, including the shipping of at least two commercial
products.
Must be fluent in C# and WPF and good development practices.
Demonstrated ability to independently accomplish assigned tasks and work with others.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good documentation and process discipline. Experience working in a regulated environment and using good
documentation practices is preferred.
The ability to function effectively in a multi-discipline team environment is required.
