ABSTRACT
This Cashew Industry Processing System is developed for managing the industry’s daily production
details, stock maintenance, salary details and employee details, managed by office workers and administrator.
This software system allows administrator to control the entire system including database maintenance
for adding a new employee, employee wage payment, supplier details. As well as this software keeps track of work
done by each employee in each section & inventory maintenance.

An inventory control system or a computerized inventory system is a process for managing and locating objects or
materials. In general terms, this may also refer to the software components. In this project we are providing an ERP
solution developed to address all the pain points of the cashew industry. It includes some of the important modules
like stock management for each process, number of cashew processed and take care lot of hassles which was very
difficult to maintain in the legacy book keeping method. This Cashew Industry ERP System is developed for the
management of industry’s daily production details, maintaining the stock, salary details and employee details,
managed by office workers and administrator. This application system allows administrator to control the entire
system including database maintenance for registering a new employee, employee salary, supplier details. As well as
this software keeps track of work done by each registered employee in each section & inventory maintenance.
2. LITERATURE SURVEY
Cashew Industries needs size parameters of cashew for processing. Size parameters includes height, length
and size of cashew. It also includes curvy shape of cashew. So Cashew Processing needs these parameters which are
given in the paper [1].
Cloud Computing is a technology which allow everyone to access hardware and software on demand by
using Internet connectivity. The paper focuses on what is Cloud computing and what’s the need of Cloud
Computing in today’s world of technology. [7].
Cloud Computing Models are Public Cloud computing, Private Cloud computing, Hybrid Cloud computing
which provides flexibility to the people to use any model as per requirement [6].
Cloud based ERP is nothing but implementing ERP on Cloud. But there are many issues of the cloud
computing solutions for the Enterprise resource systems. By overcoming these issues, development of Low cost
ERP Solution to the Industries can be done [2].
Applications of Cloud based ERP are given as follows.
(a) Self Automation.
(b) Electronic Store Fronts.
(c) Self-service Modulation [5].
Most of the Small and Medium scale Industries use Cloud ERP models. There are many services provided
to these industries by cloud like Software as a Service, Platform as a service and Technology as a service. The cloud
based ERP has replaced the traditional ERP systems today for various small scale and medium scale industries [4].
Public key cryptography is a technology used in Encryption and Decryption which uses many identical
public keys and a secret key. Public keys are provided to everyone who wants to encrypt and send the data to the

person. The person can decrypt the data only by using the secret key which is available only to him. Example of
such mechanism is RSA algorithm which uses Public key cryptography for data security [3] [8].
3. PROPOSED MODEL
Proposed system is a Web based application for Cashew Processing system which will change the existing book
entry system or excel sheet entry system. Which will in turn improve the efficiency of Cashew Processing.
Following are the modules used in Proposed System.
3.1 Modules:A. Employee
o Super Admin: - To manage admin, such as add new admin or remove an existing one.
o Admin: - This module includes the login module and sub modules.
B. Purchase
o Vendor: - Detailed information about the vendor
o Purchase Order:- Invoice given to the vendor
o Quotation:- Final
o Bills: - Includes the payment details to the vendor.
C. Inventory
o New stock: - This module includes two sub modules .I.e. Import and domestic, for the raw
cashews purchased. This module also includes drying of domestically purchased cashew nuts.
o Sundry: - Here the cashews are roasted to make the shell brittle and loosen the kernel from inside
of the shell.
o Initial grading: - It is the process to grade raw cashew according to their quality i.e
400,320,240,210.
o Boiler: - It is the process in which kernels are separated from the shell.
o Cutting: - It is the process in which kernels is separated from cashew. This process has to sub
processes i.e. automatic and manual.
o Dryer: - After removing cashew inside the kernels cashew is processed under so as to remove
moisture.
o Peeling: - In this process we remove skins from cashew and generate husk and rejections.
o Final grading: - Here the kernels after removing the skin in peeling process are graded according
to size and quality.
o Stock out/Dispatch: - This module keeps track of available raw cashew nuts and processed
cashews in the industry which are ready for dispatch.
o Billing: - To keep track & produce sales details.
D. Packaging
o Packaging Type Details: Details of packaging type i.e. tin, wrapper
o Packaging: Weight in different packaging types.
o Dispatch: Dispatch details customer’s details and cashew delivery.
E. Sales
o Whole seller: details of the buying whole seller.
o Sales Order: Date and cost of the item dispatch to the whole seller is mentioned in the module.
o Quotation: Cost details and track of the purchase order.
o Billing: - To keep track & produce sales details.
F. Analytic / Business Intelligence:o Inventory Process Reports: Report creation by Lot ids, stock ids and monthly basis.
o Purchase report: Billing, vendor report and stock id report.
o Packaging Report: Dispatch and packaging report
o Sales Report: Sales report by whole seller

4. CONCLUSION
The traditional book record keeping method for inventory module can be replaced by the model proposed in the
paper. Every record from inventory module is recorded in the system. Also this system will keep records of the
vendor and the quantity purchased and sold from the vendor which will help in 100% efficiency of the entire
Cashew processing Industry Modules. The model also uses cloud as a database which gives the benefits of cloud
computing.
So from this paper, we conclude that this paper gives optimized and streamlined workflow of Cashew Industry. This
also addresses all the pain points of Cashew Industry.
