Title: Development Coordinator, Workforce Campaign Department: Donor Engagement Reports to: Senior Director, Workforce Campaign and Director, Corporate Partnerships Announcement: October 2015 Position Summary The Development Coordinator will ensure the effective and professional operation support for the Senior Director, Workforce Campaign and Director, Corporate Partnerships by performing administrative duties. United Way is searching for a dedicated professional who learns quickly and produces quality work in time sensitive, high volume situations often involving communications with high level donors. Must be able to work with little supervision and be a self-motivated team player able to make credible decisions in a complex working environment. Must have acute skills around attention to detail. Must help maintain positive team morale, identifying problems & recommending positive solutions. Must have working understanding of fundraising best practices. Project management experience required. Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office programs. Responsibilities Provide support to Senior Director, Workforce Campaign and Director, Corporate Partnerships (including CRM and other platforms) Support implementation of engagement and fundraising strategies Audit and help to secure campaign results Donor event and training support throughout the year Comfortable with public speaking and interacting with donors outside of the office Conduct donor and/or prospect research at the individual and corporate level Provide back-up support to Executive Assistant, Donor Engagement when required. Provide customer care and communicate with donors and volunteers Prepare items essential for effective team management, i.e., agendas, rosters, correspondence, reports, analyses, purchase orders and spreadsheets Maintain database information for assigned areas Submit departmental invoices & check requests to ensure reimbursements are made and bills are paid in a timely manner. Coordinate meetings for Senior Director, Workforce Campaign and Director, Corporate Partnerships Serve as contact person to all questions & requests directed for Senior Director, Workforce Campaign and Director, Corporate Partnerships Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Undergraduate degree required.
