Homecoming:

The important Homecoming Court Vote will take place on Friday, September 12, 2014 through Sunday,
September 14. The voting procedure will be the same as last week's vote - by computer. If you are not sure
how to vote, consult your how to vote document you received last Friday. If you do not have it, stop by the
main office or see Mr. Laplanche. Please be advised, no posters or campaigning for this vote is allowed.
Posters found in the hallway concerning this vote will make the candidates ineligible. Thank you for your

Homecoming tickets will be sold starting on September 8, 2014 through September 18, 2014 during all
lunch periods. Tickets are $20 for each ticket. Also, on September 15, 2015 the new DJ will be previewing
their Homecoming repertoire in the commons of the lunchroom. We ask that all students during this DJ
preview act in a correct manner so more Brush student centered events may take place during the school year.
Student Congress is working hard to promote school spirit and to stage excellent events for the Brush

Attention: Student Congress needs a male and female vocalist to sing at the Homecoming Assembly. The
song this year is "Almost Is Never Enough" by Arianna Grande. Please sign up to audition in Mr. Laplanche's
room - D-210. There will be two audition dates, September 4 and September 11. We are counting on the
excellent Brush talent to stage this song for the assembly. Sign up now!(9/10)

Top 26 mandatory meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in room D-210. This is
a very important expectation meeting and your presence is necessary. In addition, important information and
dress code for Top 26 pictures this Friday will be discussed. Thank you in advance for your presence.(9/10)

SENIORS PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT MARIETTA COLLEGE WILL VISIT BRUSH ON THURS. 9/11 @
9:45 AND LAKELAND WILL VISIT ON FRI. 9/12 @ 11:00. SIGN-UP IN THE ATTENDANCE DEPT. IF YOU

Attention all Band and Orchestra students. Attention all Band and Orchestra students. Today is the last day of
auditions for the Soundsation Show Choir band. Band students as well as string players are needed. Audition time are
from 3-5. Sign up immediately. See you then. (9/9)

Attention any student interested in joining stage crew for SOUNDSATION SHOW CHOIR. Please see Miss. Ballou
immediately to get an application. Students involved in crew will be needed for rehearsals and performances starting in

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Are you interested in being in the musical this year??? Would you like to have a
say in what musical you would like Brush to do this year??? Now is your chance to let your voice to be heard!! This
Thursday, Sept 11 @ 3:15 in the PAC, the Drama Club will be having a Performance Showcase. It is a chance for you
to sing whatever you want to showcase your talent. From this showcase, is how the musical will be chosen for this
year? So please come out and show us what you can do!!! Hope to see everybody there!!!(9/11)

Attention all Drama Club members: This Tuesday, Sept 9 we will be having a Karaoke Social @ 3:15 in RM C115.
This will be a time to socialize, sing some song and get to know each other as we prepare for the Performance

NHS All juniors and seniors who wish to be considered for National Honor Society must have their completed
applications submitted to the Attendance Office by 3 PM on Thursday, September 11th. This deadline is firm. Please

CARE The first meeting of CARE (Cultural Awareness, Race, and Equality), originally scheduled for September 4th
has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 11th, at 3:05 in Room B105. If you enjoy discussing any of these topics,
this is the club for you. Questions? See junior, Lindsay Mink or club advisor, Ms. Fine. Mark your calendars and stay

SPORTS:

Volleyball Brush hosted Shaw Monday and won decisively 25-6, 25-15, 25-13 improving to 5-4.
Lindsey Mink lead with 14 assists and 6 kills. Gabby Turk's foray into the front row produced 5 kills & 3 aces, and Darielle
Newton had 15 service points. Freshman squad fell to Wickliffe.

