ALL SCHOOL:

Homecoming Weekend 2015 starts today Thursday October 15th, with our assembly. Followed by our Parade
and game on Friday, October 16th! We will celebrate on Saturday, October 17th with our Homecoming Dance.

Homecoming Tickets are being sold during lunch periods. If you have purchased a ticket for a Non-Brush Student
(your Guest/Date), but you still have not bought your own ticket…you must buy your ticket today. Your Guest/Date
cannot attend Homecoming without you!! Please remind your Guest/Date that they must show their identification at the
dance on Saturday (10/15)

SuperArcs We have been invited to walk in the parade for homecoming tomorrow. Please meet me in the front of the
building by attendance at 5:15 pm on Friday. (10/15)

JOSTENS will also take Class Ring Orders during lunch periods today, Thursday, October 15th (10/15)

Mock Trial. Will meet next Tuesday, October 20th (10/20)

Attention MAC Emeralds, Diamonds and Scholars: There will be a MAC meeting on Monday, October 19, 2015 in
A103, at 3:05. We will be planning an upcoming event, so please be there.(10/19)

ATTENTION ALL ACADEMIC TEAM MEMBERS: Due to the Homecoming Assembly, there will be NO
practice after school today. Also, the Copley Tournament this Saturday has been cancelled. (10/15)

Christian Fellowship Club will being having its first Bible Study on Monday October 19th @3:05 pm, in B112. All
are welcome to attend. (10/19)

Attention students: All Show Choir Students and students singing solos at today's homecoming assembly, please
report directly to the choir room at the beginning of 5th period. Again, show choir students and soloists, directly to the
choir room for 5th period. Thank you!(10/15)

If you are looking to earn your community service hours, Key Club meets every Wednesday after school in the library.
It's not too late to join! (10/22)

Mark your calendar for the NHS Blood Drive on October 22. Students 16 and over can donate blood. Be a hero - your
donation will save up to three lives! Each donor will also be rewarded with refreshments, a gift from the Red Cross,
and a half-off coupon for Cedar Point's Halloweekends.(10/22)

The Senior Class Important Information Booklet is now available for pick up in the Principal’s Office.
You will also receive an email at the end of the day with a copy for easy access for you and your family as we forge
ahead to Commencement Day on Wednesday, May 25, 2016!
o When you stop by the principal’s office to pick up your copy, please check your name with Mrs. Sanford for
accuracy as we prepare for printing your diploma. If you do not notify Mrs. Sanford of any changes to your
name, it will printed on you diploma just as it is in our school database.(10/31)

BRUSH SENIORS! SPIRIT WEAR Will go on sale on Monday, October 19 through Friday October 30th. In order
to expedite the orders we are offering pullover hoodies “ONLY”. With plans to have all orders ready for you before
Thanksgiving Break.
o The hoodie will be GOLD with BROWN lettering. It will have the “A” for ARC’s and Class of 2016 on the
upper left on the front.
o
On the lower back of the hoodie, you will have an opportunity to personalize your Spirit Wear Hoodie with
your name.
o Order Forms are can be picked up from Mrs. Sanford in the Principal’s Office on Monday!
o All orders are due, with CASH payment in full, to Mrs. Sanford in the Principal’s Office by 2:30 pm on
Friday, October 30th ***NO EXCEPTIONS** (10/30)

o Wright State University will be visiting Brush on Thursday October 15, at 1:00 pm
o Mercyhurst University will be visiting Brush on Monday October 19, at 9:00 am
o Cleveland State University will be visiting Brush on Monday October 19, at 10:30 am
o Mount Union College will be visiting Brush on Wednesday October 21, at 11:00 am
o Gannon University will be visiting Brush on Friday October 23, at 10:00 am

SPORTS:

The athletic office will be giving away letter jackets. It’s as easy as coming to our office and putting your name down.
A few winners will be pulled at the end of the month. Winners will be notified. Good luck.(10/22)
