ALL SCHOOL:

Attention all Orchestra students who have turned in their field trip form to Miss Baric, Please meet in the
Instrumental Music Room directly after 1st period to board the bus to attend the concert at Playhouse Square.(10/6)

Homecoming Weekend 2015 will begin on Thursday October 15th, with our assembly. Followed by our Parade
and game on Friday, October 16th and end on Saturday, October 17th with our Homecoming Dance.

Homecoming Packets are available in the Assistant Principal’s Offices
Permission Slips to bring a Non-Brush Student as your guest are now available with Mrs. Jamieson in
the Main Office.
Homecoming Tickets are being sold during lunch periods. Please keep in mind if you are bringing a Non-Brush
Student, they must be approved by Mr. Williamson before you can purchase your tickets. (10/13)

Student Congress will begin decorating for Homecoming on Thursday, October 7, 2015 from 3:00-5:00 in B109. We
will be decorating until the assembly on Thursday, October, 15,2015. The Super Arcs should attend an informational
meeting on Thursday in room B109. If you are in need of volunteer hours, please attend. (10/7)

The Brush Top 25 will attend a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday, October 7,2015 from 3:15-3:45.
Please check your e-mail Tuesday night to verify if you made the 2015 Top 25.(10/7)

Picture retakes are today Tuesday, October 6th. Students who were absent on picture day will be called to the
EAST Gym throughout the day. If you purchased pictures and are unhappy with them, you may bring them to the
EAST Gym when called for a retake and exchange. Staff and if there is any reason you did not have your picture taken
please be sure to report to EAST Gym today.(10/6)

JOSTENS FAMILY CLASS RING ORDER NIGHT in Welser Gym Hallway on Wed. October 7th 5:30 pm(10/7)
o Jostens will also take Class Ring Orders during lunch periods on both Friday, October 9th and Thursday,

Results from the Mock Trial Tryouts will be posted after 7th period TODAY. The next meeting is Tuesday, October
13, 2015 in Room B111 at 3:10 p.m.

Attention Brush Environmental Club students. Because of the NHS rehearsal after school today, the regularly
scheduled meeting of Project Earth will be moved to next Tuesday, Oct. 13 immediately after school in B106. See you
there!

If you are looking to earn your community service hours, Key Club meets every Wednesday after school in the library.
It's not too late to join! (10/7)

Mark your calendar for the NHS Blood Drive on October 22. Students 16 and over can donate blood. Be a hero - your
donation will save up to three lives! Each donor will also be rewarded with refreshments, a gift from the Red Cross,
and a half-off coupon for Cedar Point's Halloweekends.(10/22)

Book Club will be meeting this Thursday after school to discuss "The Young Elites" and receive next month's book.


o University of Rochester will be visiting Brush on Tuesday October 6, at 12:00 noon
o St. Leo University will be visiting Brush on Wednesday October 7, at 12:00 noon
o University of Toledo will be visiting Brush on Friday October 9, at 9:00 am
o Ohio University will be visiting Brush on Friday October 9, at 10:30 am
o Kent State will be visiting Brush on Friday October 9, at 1:00 pm
Please sign up in the Guidance Office.
SPORTS:

Attention: Any girls interested in playing basketball this upcoming season, there will be a MANDATORY meeting
this Wednesday right after school from 3:05-3:15 in the auditorium with Coach K. You will receive information about
when practices/tryouts begin, along with forms that need to be completed in order for you to tryout. If you are in a fall
sport, show up so you can get the information and then you will be excused early to get to practice.(10/7)

All students interested in bowling this winter there will be open bowling practice this Thursday Oct 8th from 4p-6p at
the Game of Wickliffe, formerly named Freeway Lanes. The cost for the 2hrs of bowling will be $5 per student. You
must provide your own transportation to & from the bowling alley. See coach Scott with any questions.(10/8)

Attention all hockey players. There is a mandatory player and parent meeting on Tuesday October 13th at 7:30pm in
room B113. This meeting is for anyone interested in playing Ice hockey during the upcoming winter sports season. If
you are at all interested in playing, please plan to attend with a parent.

If you are interested in joining the Chess Club see Mr. Jackson in the B-Wing Office for sign up.
