I believe national party politics should not be running our
Local Council - I care for the people I represent –
People not Politics
Dear Residents,
I have been one of the East Lindsey District Councillors at Holton-le-Clay
since 2007 and very much hope you will vote for me once again so that I
can continue to represent the best interests of Holton le Clay, North
Thoresby, Grainsby and Waithe.
I now stand as an Independent having seen block voting by political groups
at East Lindsey District Council, which is not in the best interests of the
residents I represent. During my time as an East Lindsey District Councillor
I have worked to improve our services, including Safeguarding as Children’s
Champion, and I currently serve on the Lindsey Marsh Drainage Board and
East Lindsey Planning Committee.
I regularly attend Holton le Clay Parish Council meetings and hold a monthly
surgery in the Parish Council Offices on a monthly basis to listen and to
support residents. It is my intention to continue these opportunities for
you, including North Thoresby if elected. So please vote for me!

As the East Lindsey Ward Councillor for the last 8 years I have worked
closely with my fellow Ward Councillor, for the benefit of the community
 I have supported the following organisations;
o Facilities for the new village hall
o Holton-le Clay Twinning Association and LIVES
o Sarge Close and Insurance for the Youth Club
o Holton News and Cricket Club coach
o Infant School library and Computer for nursery
o Screens for Youth Club
Some major successes have been
 withdrawal of 3G mast
 on-going improvements to water supplies and drainage
 support for the village hall complex
 the development of the Youth Club and Children’s Centre
If elected I will
 continue to try and improve facilities for residents
 work closely with the other elected councillor for the benefit of
Holton le Clay, North Thoresby, Grainsby and Waithe
 work to ensure any planning developments are for the benefit of
the area and do not damage our rural landscape
 work to get affordable housing for younger residents
 work to get improved broadband and better road maintenance
 work to keep our rural landscape free from more wind turbines
 encourage residents to be more responsible by picking up their
dog’s mess and not parking on grass verges.
