Agenda was approved; Richard Gutierrez made the motion, Megan Stoneking seconded; unanimously approved.

Minutes from November 21, 2013 and January 16, 2014 (with corrections) were approved;

Old Business
A.
Computer Science Degree updates: Harry Sheski and Karen Henry
Karen Henry distributed a hand-out for the revised computer science program requirements for the Associate of Applied Science in Commercial Design Technology, with a name change of from the previous version of Electronic Digital Technology. The members of curriculum committee decided to retain the original title of Digital Electronic Publishing. The only other change was a correction of ENGL 218G from Writing in the Humanities and Social Sciences to Science and
Technical Communication. These changes and the degree plan were approved (Harry Sheski moved and Neal Gallagher seconded) unanimously.
B.
The building trades certificate has been approved by

Robotics/Automation Certificate: Harry Sheski
The proposed 20 credits for this certificate was approved. A change of ELT 221 to ELT 265
(Special Topics) was proposed. It was suggested that this change be revisited as a later date, perhaps changing the 20 credits to a 30 credit degree program. If approved, the 30 vcredit hours may impact financial aid.
D.
The electronics certificate program will be abolished with students presently in it finishing in
December. No additional courses for the program will be offered.
E.
The committee decided to strongly encourage Kati O’Connor to attend the next meeting in
March to discuss the Associate in Early Childhood Education degree program.
