FUNERAL HELD: Anna Marie Gamache
DATELINE: Swanton, Vermont
The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, September 26, 2015,
at 11 a.m. from The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Father
Luke P. Austin was the celebrant and homilist. Edward Daniel and Paul Laroche
served as Ministers of the Altar. Music was provided by organist Louise Loomis
and soloist Andy LaRocque. A large guard of honor was formed by member of
the Nativity Ladies of Saint Anne and Altar Society and Fourth Degree Knights
of Columbus, Saint Edmund of Canterbury Assembly 2207.
The White Funeral Pall was draped over Mrs. Gamache’s casket by family
friends, Denise Bruley and Patty Fortin. The Crucifix was then placed by
grandson, Nicolas Conger. Scripture readings from The Old and New Testament
were proclaimed by granddaughter, Holly Conger. The Offertory Gifts were
presented by daughters, Lisa Conger, Susan Gamache and Elaine Messier.
Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from Dan Hazard
Construction, Union Bible Church, Chevalier Well Drilling, Open Arms
Construction, Neil Spear Construction, E.J. Barrett Ford, Swanton Rexall, H.G.
Berger & Son, Paquin Ford, Flowers by Debbie, NMC, Parent Farms, Village
Green Apartments, M & T Sand and Gravel, Total Home Center, St. Albans Coop, MVU, Fournier Home Improvement, Swanton Elementary & Mary S. Babcock
Schools and the parish community of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary / Saint
Louis Parish.
Following communion the Prayer for a Deceased Lady of Saint Anne was led by
Nativity president, Mrs. Joyce Bombardier.
The Rite of Committal and Interment followed at the Gamache family lot in Saint
Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery with Father Austin reading the committal
prayers. The bears were, Nicholas Conger, Gary Messier, Tom St. Pierre, Marcel
Gamache, Raymond Gamache, Gary St, Pierre, Mark St. Pierre and Rene St.
Pierre.
To conclude the visitation Father Austin led family and friends in a short Vigil
Service during such time Special Word of Remembrance was shared by Eva
Quebec, Louis Loomis and Patty Fortin.
Following The Prayers of Committal a reception was held for family and friends
in the Nativity Parish Center hosted by, Mrs. Joyce Bombardier and the Nativity
Ladies of Saint Anne.
