The Nursery would like to tell you about a project that we have been introduced to by Gower College Swansea. The Project is called ‘Sustainability through Creativity’. The aims of the project are to :-Enchance our children’s experiences through the introduction of the aims of Sustainability through Creativity . -To teach children at a young age that everyday materials can be re-used to become brand new objects or works of art. -To teach the children about respecting and saving materials. - To encouraging the children to explore through sustainability. -To encourage the children to actively help in the Nursery ‘Treasure Corner’. The Nursery has already created our Treasure Corner which is an area in the Nursery where all the materials are openly displayed for the children to use. We now need your help in ensuring that we have plenty of materials to ensure the project continues . Please see the table below and if you could pass on any of these materials or others that you think we might be able to use, the Nursery children would be extremely grateful.
