Transition Story Cafe – Wednesday 25th June 8.50 – 9.50 a.m. This story cafe will be available to children that attend Pre-School on a Wednesday morning and to children that will be starting school in September. We will be enjoying a wonderful story about starting school and the children will have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities. Thursday 26th June – Inset Day – Pre-School closed Pyjama Week 30th June – 4th July This will be a sponsored event to raise funds for Pre-School. Sponsor forms will be issued shortly. We are carrying this event on for a week to ensure that all the children attending Pre-School can enjoy the many fun activities in store. Please help us to raise as much money as possible. We will plan all the activities, all we ask is that your child attends Pre-School wearing pyjamas. Pre-School Sports Day – Wednesday 9th July 2.00 – 3.15 p.m If your child is attending our Sports Day, please ensure that they wear appropriate footwear such as training shoes (no crocs or flip flops). Please complete the tear-off form to follow if you wish your child to be included. Grandparents Afternoon – Thursday 10th July 1.30 p.m. – 3.00 p.m We would love to see as many children come along with their Grandparent(s) and spend the afternoon joining in with lots of the things that we enjoy doing at PreSchool. This is a fundraising event so we would appreciate donations of: Cakes for the cake stall (please bring in on the day) Tombola prizes (anything in new condition from a tin of beans to a child’s toy/puzzle, toiletries, etc) There will be books for sale as well as the opportunity for the children to have their photograph taken with their grandparent(s) to purchase in a frame made by the children. Please ensure that any Grandparent attending brings along some money to support this event if possible. Transition picnic – Wednesday 16th July 1.30 – 3.30 p.m. This event will be available to children that attend Pre-School on a Wednesday afternoon and to children that will be starting school in September. We will be liaising with reception class and the children will have access to a wide range of fun activities. In order for children to get to know their new teachers and interact with the many activities, this is for children only, so please complete the form to follow if you wish your child to be left with staff at Pre-School to enjoy this event. A picnic will be provided for the children. Last day of term celebrations – Wednesday 23rd July 2.30 – 3.30 p.m Children attending Pre-School on this afternoon are welcome to come in on this last day of term in fancy dress of their choice. We invite all Pre-School children to come along with parents for the last hour of the day (also in fancy dress if the children wish) so that we can say goodbye to our children that will be going to school, take photographs and issue leaver’s certificates. This half term we will be learning through the theme of holidays, summer and the seaside. We have many fun activities planned for the children to enjoy in our indoor and outdoor environment. Parking Please ensure that you do not park to collect/drop off your child in the school entrance or on the yellow zig-zag lines outside the school. We must keep the school entrance clear AT ALL TIMES. Thank you. Polite Reminder As all sessions are now full, it is VITAL that you collect your child on time.
