THE FRANKFORT COMMUNITY
Through both group and individual conferences,
counselors help students understand themselves,
establish goals, and select courses and activities that
seem most appropriate for their abilities, interests,
and achievements.
Frankfort High School is located on the West
Virginia-Maryland border, approximately 8 miles
from Cumberland, MD. The Frankfort School
District encompasses the communities of Fort
Ashby, Ridgeley, Short Gap and Wiley Ford. The
majority of parents are employed in the
manufacturing,
engineering,
corrections
or
healthcare fields. Economically, the area would be
rated as average. The low crime rate, high
employment, and low cost-of-living factors make
the area an attractive community.
