I know that I am stealing from the Athletics
section, but wanted to offer my
congratulations to Brianna Burbridge.
Friday night she became Frankfort High
School’s all time leading scorer, male or
female! And she still has a whole season of
games to add to that total! In addition to
being able to get buckets, Brianna is a great
student, an absolutely wonderful young lady
and personifies everything that you hope to
see in a Frankfort High School student.
Thank you Bri for being such a perfect
ambassador for our school!

Seniors be sure to keep checking the scholarship page on the school website. New
scholarships are arriving each week.
Seniors-Now that you have applied to colleges, don't forget to send your supporting documents.
Request your transcript through your Parchment account, email Mrs. Anderson if you need her
to send your test scores (remember UK will only accept them directly from the testing agency),
email Mrs. Anderson if you qualify for an application fee waiver, and request any needed
recommendation letters. Don't forget to check the scholarships page on the school website as
well.
Please get your cap/gown orders to Mrs. Anderson before Christmas Break. We do have
some funds available for those who need financial assistance, so please let me know if
paying is an issue for your family. Everyone must have an order in with your height/weight
so that we get the correct caps/gowns.
If you missed the announcement, the winning choice was blue caps and gowns for all.
The Governor's School for the Arts application is available on-line. Sophomores and Juniors
are eligible to apply. For more information,
visit http://www.kentuckycenter.org/education-community-arts/gsa/. Applications are
due by December 31 and programs require an audition or review.
The Governor's School for Entrepreneurs application is available on-line at
Kentuckygse.com. Applications are due December 21 and are open to Freshmen,
Sophomores, and Juniors.
Seniors-Don't forget to send Mrs. Anderson your acceptance letters for the bulletin board.
