ANNOUNCEMENTS MONDAY 2-04-2013 Parent News: Parents of Seniors: Registration forms for the Senior All Nighter were emailed out the first week of January. Registration forms and fee are due this week. Plans are again being made for the 12th Annual Caberfae Ski outing sponsored by Legacy Christian School. The date is February 15, the Friday of Winter Break. The cost to ski from 10am-5pm is $28 per person. That includes all equipment, lift ticket, food for the day and bus ride if desired. All are welcome whether Legacy families or friends. Mark your calendars now, and pick up a Ski packet at Legacy’s West Campus office or online @ www.legacycs.org. Requested Announcement: World-renowned author and speaker Dr. Jim Burns is coming to Cornerstone Church in Caledonia on February 6! Jim will be presenting a Parenting seminar, which will equip and encourage anyone who interacts with kids and teens, whether as a parent, grandparent, or mentor. The topic "Teaching Your Children Healthy Sexuality" will be covered during the 2.5 hour seminar. This face paced, practical seminar will give you confidence to help your kids face the ever-changing culture with a healthy, Biblical view of their sexuality. Tickets are $6 ($10 for two), which will include a seminar manual and light refreshments, and can be purchased at the Church office or by visiting the website www.cornerstonemi.org. Homecoming Dance: Doors open at 8:15 p.m. but the music doesn’t begin until 8:30 p.m. SCHS students are free with student ID. Guests are $3.00 and will need photo ID. Guest passes were due yesterday. If you forgot to get a pass for your guest, see Mrs. Atsma today at noon. Attire must be modest. Wear comfortable, flat shoes. Spike heels are not good for the gym floor. Students who dress or dance inappropriately will be asked to leave. We are looking forward to a great and fun evening! Seniors bring a pen or pencil to chapel. All students involved in chapel today need to be in the auditorium by 11:15. Blood Drive: The new date for the Blood Drive will be Monday, Feb. 11. More info to follow. The ECO Office has arranged a visit to Bethany Christian Services for juniors and seniors who are interested in learning more about a career in social work. Please stop in ECO if you are interested.
