Presented by the nation’s premier street art gallery, Lab Art, Street Art for Peace is first to introduce a series of partnerships established by Vanity
by V to introduce Peace in 10,000 Hands a global art project to invigorate the conversation for peace, incorporating charity with 100% gifting
along the way.
Through gallery involvement of various artistic genres, the goal of the collaborations is to create a powerful collection of works, diverse in its
nature, yet united for the common cause of global peace like humanity itself.
The exhibition collaboration features solo and collaborative works of LAB ART artists Kai, Mar, Annie Preece, Louis XXX, Matty Fontana, Moncho
1929, all known for their distinct styles within the industry of street art, and the photographic artist and founder of Peace in 10,000 Hands, Stuart
Robertson to create a truly unique collection while expressing peace through Street Art. Featuring the celebrity supporters while incorporating
them into the Street Art creations, the exhibition includes powerful photographs taken of Seal, Jamie Lee Curtis, Demi Moore, Daryl Hannah and
holding the white rose for Peace.
Street Art for Peace exhibition opening commenced on June 19, 2014 from 7 PM to 10 PM in the cocktail reception opening the conversation for
peace while the LA’s tastemakers enjoyed craft cocktail creations presented by Profic Libations and 1933 Group within the gallery decorated in
white floral décor by Fanciful Designs.
Photo booth added to the entertainment capturing some of the most candid moments of the evening while the guests enjoyed the musical
stylings by Lab Art’s resident DJ Kristina Kova and the guest DJ Eve Speciall. Live painting by Matty Fontana engaged the guests in the process of
creation of one of the works now on display alongside the rest of the powerful pieces presented by the exhibition hosted at Lab Art Gallery
through July 3rd, 2013.
Following the memorable exhibit, Street Art for Peace presents a limited addition book featuring the collaborative creations alongside the original
photographs taken by Stuart Robertson. The collector’s item incorporates quotes describing peace and will be available for purchase in July 2014.

Carrying on the conversation for peace through the power of the white rose, over 1300 people from 40 nationalities have been photographed to
date, including the spiritual leader himself. While highly supported by the Dalai Lama Foundation, the Global movement raises funds for charity.
Peace in 10,000 Hands is followed and supported by many top celebrities with a constantly increasing following. Some of the supporters already

Stuart Robertson is the artist and founder behind Peace in 10,000 Hands photographing a single white rose as an ancient symbol of peace in the
hands of 10,000 people from every country on the planet, to challenge and reinvigorate the conversation for peace.
When completed, the photographic project will become a provocative and insightful contemporary art exhibition that tours the world and gives
rise to a global conversation for peace. Artworks from throughout the project are being donated 100% to charities focused on furthering peace
through children's education, safety and wellbeing.
