Working Well: Stage 2 EOI for Partnership Selection Form Deadline for submission: 10am, 7 August 2015 Introduction The Big Life Company are passionate about delivering social inclusion outcomes across Greater Manchester. We currently deliver the Working Well pilot project within Manchester, Salford and Trafford. We are developing a partnership bid in anticipation of the Working Well Expansion for which details are expected to be released in July. Phase 1 expansion looks to continue to wrap provision around the employment and skills landscape. It will support up to 15,000 people with multiple and inter-related barriers to employment such as; Health issues Homelessness Addiction Low confidence/motivation Childcare problems Low skills Debt Ex-offenders Where possible it will support people earlier than the current pilot does. Our approach is to work with partners who can bring their local knowledge and experience. We aspire to work with organisations who are already embedded within communities and can demonstrate the impact of their work. Referrals are expected to occur between January 2016 and March 2017. Priority groups may differ from across Greater Manchester and we are interested to hear about priority groups where you deliver services. We are looking for partners who; -cover all or some of the local authority areas in Greater Manchester - are already working with these target groups - can demonstrate innovation and an integrated approach. Testing Aligned Therapies We anticipate the service to include testing aligned therapies, including the following; Advice & Information Coaching & mentoring Guided self-help reading Online therapies Peer support groups Physical activity groups Psycho-educational groups Telephone counselling Working Well will support clients to remove their health and wellbeing barriers to employment. The primary role of the Working Well key-worker will be to support progress towards job goals and sustained employment; and enable access to appropriate wellbeing interventions – examples are: Brief dynamic therapy – expected length of intervention 6-16 weeks Cognitive behavioural therapy – expected length of intervention 10-20 weeks Counselling – expected length of intervention 6-20 weeks Couple therapy – expected length of intervention 6-20 weeks Interpersonal psychotherapy – expected length of intervention 8-16 weeks The suggested go live date for the Working Well Expansion is January 2016 Big Life EOI for Partnership Selection Form Page 4 of 8 3.
