Job Title: Technical Trainer Salary: 28,000 -33,000 Reporting To: Head of Business Support Hours of Work: 40 Place of Work: Head Office, Sudbury, Suffolk Responsibilities and Duties: 1. 2. 3. 4. Deliver Bpec, C&G NICEIC and HETAS courses as scheduled to a high standard Ensure all preparation is complete prior to course delivery Ensure all evaluations are complete at the end of the course Provide technical support to the Training Manager and Service and Maintenance Manager on all Specflue products 5. Provide secondary support to the internal sales and technical departments on more advanced technical issues 6. Provide product development and continual improvement through monthly departmental meetings 7. Attend suppliers and our Honiton Depot as and when required to help improve services, manage and maintain relationships, such as Schiedel, MCZ and Flamco 8. Provide off site training at satellite training locations on all of our training products 9. Provide technical and installation support to the installer network as required through course development, documentation and contribution to the knowledge base 10. Represent the business on technical committees when required such as the BFCMA, SFA, HETAS and APHC 11. Monitor stock on hand-outs and ensure a min stock level is maintained at all times 12. Ensure the versions of training course materials remains current 13. Quality assure the final course paperwork, sign as the assessor or IV where appropriate and issue to training co-ordinator 14. Ensure own CPD is considered keeping abreast of new techniques and theories 15. Provide support to the Training Manager on all projects 16. On occasion work weekends on course delivery (time will be given off in Lieu) 17. Attend trade shows and events if required 18. Ensure a clean and tidy work area at all times 19. The emphasis will be to focus on agreed objectives. 20. Create standard templates, letters and spread sheets as appropriate to help with course materials and delivery. 21. Utilise the training database to ensure the end to end process is completed in all cases, liaising with the training co-ordinator. 22. Attend developmental courses as agreed with the Training Manager. 23. Work with the management team when required to help collate on-going training needs.
