The Pitts Theology Library staff will be available in CST 369 to assist students with Blackboard, the course management system used at Candler. Increasingly, faculty are relying on Blackboard for distribution of course materials, submission of assignments, and discussion outside of class. If you are new to course management systems or unsure of how to use Blackboard at

Candler, please stop by for help at any time during the drop-in session and stay for a few minutes. Students are encouraged to

Theology Library. The entrance to the library is located on the second floor of Candler School of Theology, accessed by entering through the Rita Anne Rollins Building.

All students, particularly if unable to take an in-person tour of the library, are welcome to take a virtual tour of

Library Tours: Available by prior registration only. If you signed up for a tour, meet at your appointed time in

Pitts Theology Library. The entrance to the library is located on the second floor of Candler School of

Theology, accessed by entering through the Rita Anne Rollins Building. Tours are scheduled at:

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

All students, particularly if unable to take an in-person tour of the library, are welcome to take a virtual tour of

Pitts Theology Library.

NOTE ABOUT DRESS CODE FOR MDIV CONTEXTUAL EDUCATION I INTRO ON TUESDAY,

AUGUST 25:

Appropriate business casual attire is required of students for their Contextual Education site visit, Tuesday , August 25. Specifically, this means no shorts, no short skirts, no t-shirts, no sandals, no jeans. Men do not need to wear a sports jacket nor a tie, but must wear dress slacks and shirts with collars, dress shoes and socks. No one should wear open-toed shoes. Women should not wear high heels, but comfortable walking shoes. Students who do not follow this dress code will not be able to attend the Contextual Education site orientation. Those Con Ed students at any of the prison sites

(Arrendale and Transitional Center/Helms, as well as Metro RYDS) should NOT wear khaki-colored slacks or dresses, no jewelry, and should expect to leave phones in the van during orientation.
