5. ADDITIONAL BRAINSTORMING, IF TIME
 Aimee will work on Art projects “upcycling” using nonrecycled recylcables. In conjunction with
Jeff Scanlan.
 amanda said that if we send her a little blurb, logo and website, she will put it in the Blackboard
faculty users group for including in syllabi.
 everybody try to put recycling info on your syllabi, and spread this concept by word of mouth. Put
CLEARLY LABELED bins in your classrooms, offices, etc. point it out when students don’t recycle.
WE Have leftover stickers that say :no garbage in the recycling. It would be nice to get these freestanding next to the bins.
 get a better presence at convocation, freshman orientation (Tamika Black).
 a field trip to Allied waste was suggested. This could be an event around Earth Day. Signup sheet
on the web site.
