the half-term holiday. The Nursery and School will re-open as usual on

Well done to Year 4 you have scored the highest attendance. Year 5 and Year 6
please try to do better, these figures really do need to improve! Lets hope that all
Classes will be over the 95% for the next Newsletter.
Leave of Absence …………………………
May I remind all Parents/Carers that it is not possible to authorise holiday during
school time. It is the Governors policy that no holiday should be authorised.
It is extremely important that all children attend school regularly to ensure that they
achieve their full potential.
Sainsbury’s Active Kids Voucher Scheme ……………………………
Wow! We have now collected 1185 of the Vouchers and would like to remind all
Parent/Carers to collect their Vouchers when shopping at Sainsbury’s. This does
enable us to provide the children with additional resources in the school.

Do we have all your details correct? If you have changed your home address,
workplace or telephone number, can you please collect a Parental Contact Form at
the School Office. It is important that we hold correct details for all children.
Nursery Classes …………………………
May I remind all Parent/Carers that for Health and Safety reasons open toe footwear
is not permitted in the Nursery Class. They are simply not suitable when the children
are playing and climbing outside. Socks must be worn at all times.
Breakfast & After School Clubs ………………………
New Breakfast and After School Club Booking Forms will be available at the School
Office on Wednesday, 6th May 2015.
NEWSLETTER
School Uniform ……………………..
I have noticed that we have children attending school without their full school
uniform. All children should attend school everyday with their correct uniform.
School ties, jumpers and black shoes are all part of the uniform. Trainers and
cardigans are not correct uniform. I do request everyone’s full co-operation please.
Ice Lollies …………………………..
There will be ice lollies on sale at the end of the school day at 3.30 p.m. outside the
Library.
