The course aims to train students to develop their speaking and listening skills
to enable them to handle specific communicative tasks. The focus of the course
will be on practical language use. In addition, students will be intensively
trained to listen to extract specific information. Extensive audio and visual
materials will be used to train students to listen to English language in different
situations.
The Course Objectives:
This course aims at enabling students to understand spoken English at a variety
of communicative situation. Also, students will be able to speak about different
topics in different communicative situations. The course also aims at
introducing students to different strategies that will help them improve their
listening and speaking skills.

The Course Outcomes:
1. Scientific Skills:
Students will be able to understand and participate in dialogues
effectively.
2. Behavioral Skills:
Students will be able to communicate with others in English.
3. Analytical Skills:
Students will be able to analyze and understand the spoken language.
Assessment Methods:
Assessment mechanism is based on a continuous assessment of in-class
performance, assignments, periodic tests, and a final exam.
