At the very beginning of second service on September 13 th , there will be an opportunity to be baptized in water! If you are interested in being baptized in water, please talk to one of the Pastors or call the church office at 442-1371.
September 13 th at 4 pm at the White Oak Barn at Kennekuk, we will have the Sunday School Picnic!
The church supplies the plates, cutlery, water & sodas. Everyone attending needs to bring a covered dish for the potluck meal, along with lawn chairs & any sports equipment you want to play.
The Wednesday evening meals will begin again on
September 2 nd , but with a few changes! The kitchen will now be serving from 5-5:30 pm, rather than until 5:45 like they have done previously. Also, the meals will be served on a donation basis rather than the previously set cost.
Save the Date! Friday, September 25 at 6 pm, DFA will host their 2 nd BBQ Dinner Fundraiser!

We need your help! Ashley Golden is looking for some people to help out in the Kidstown Check from 9:45-11:15 on
Sunday mornings on a once a month rotation! If you would like to start helping, please contact Ashley at 217-260-1832 or goldenA@danville118.org.
We are looking for some wonderful people who would be willing to help out when the church hosts a funeral dinner.
There are 2 ways we can use some help! First, if you would be able to donate a dish for the dinner & second, if you would like to volunteer to help with the dinner. There are 2 sign-up sheets in the south foyer-1 for each type of volunteer. Please see Jeanie Hughes for more information.
It is time to update our church directories! If you are not in the church directory, we would love to include you in the directory! There is a sign-up sheet in the south foyer, if you would take a few minutes to fill it out so we can update our directory. Also, if your address or phone number has changed, please let us know so we can keep the information up to date!

We are seeking potential drivers for van routes & special trips. There is van policy manual & application in the folders outside of the Main Office. If you are interested in helping, please read over the manual, fill out the application & bring it in with the necessary paperwork to be processed by the office. 10 am-People Reaching People Golf Tournament
Thom & Connie have been serving the people of the Sahara Desert since 2005!
They are planting a church and ministering to the community through a English
Language Centre which provides them with unique opportunities to build relationships and openly express & live out the love of Christ!
They will be returning to America in April of 2016 for itineration. Please pray that they will be able to raise funds quickly-their hopes are to raise their budget in 8 months, because there will be no one to partner with them to keep their ministry open while they are gone.
