ADOPTION OF AGENDA
Chair Carol Kimbrough welcomed all members and guests. The agenda was adopted with the
deletion of ART-104, NRN-99, and PEAD-84 at the request of the initiating faculty.

Silvia Millan-Vossler and Jim Riley were in attendance to present modifications to
MAT-4 and discuss some of the challenges they face in helping students to succeed
in this course. While Silvia and Jim discussed possible alternatives to help support
some students, a change in unit value of the course was not encouraged from the
standpoint of articulation and other potential problems of “unit creep.”

LaVerne discussed some of the deadlines involved in implementing articulation agreements for
CSU and UC and how these deadlines affect IGETC and CSU-GE status as reported in our college
catalog.

ADJOURNMENT/NEXT MEETING DATE
The meeting was adjourned at 3:15 to allow members an opportunity to view the webinar on
