For this project, you will be creating a presentation with an online tool called Prezi.
You can choose one of the following topics for your presentation: (Circle one)

What happened on your birthday on
various years throughout history?
 Research your birthdate
(month and day) but change
the year and see what
happened throughout history
on those days. Look for events
in pop culture, science,
technology, history, etc.
 For example, if your birthday is
June 6th, you could find out
what happened on June 6,
1953; June 6, 1969; June 6,
1976; June 6, 1983, etc….

What was the world like in the
year you were born?
 Give us a snapshot of what
the world was like in the
year you were born. For
example, what was popular
that year. Look for fashion
trends, movies, TV shows,
top songs on the music
charts, weather on the day
you were born, other events
that happened in that year.
 For example, if you were
born in 2001, you will find
out various events that
occurred in 2001 ONLY.
This project will require:
 Completion of the Prezi Project Outline to help complete the research
required for this project.
 A title and description about your presentation.
 At least eight (8) information objects that you zoom in on.
 A works cited space where you list all of your resources/websites using
MLA style formatting.
 You must include text, titles, and images within each object you zoom in on.
 You must use proper grammar and spelling throughout your presentation.
 You must present the Prezi to the class.
