Students will each be assigned an ancient society that they will have to
research and answer a number of questions provided on the assignment
sheet

 Egyptians
 Romans
 Aztecs
Brief overview of the society and their way of life
Where is the geographic location this society was located?
What natural resources did these people use- how did they use them?
What was the land like in this geographic location? How did it help or hurt this
society
Closure: have students hand in finished work- (may require a 2nd work period)

You will be assigned an ancient society and will be given time to
research the following information
1. Brief overview of the society and their way of life
2. Where was this society geographically located?
3. Which natural resources did these people use- how did they use them?
4. What was the land like in this geographic location? How did it help or hurt
this society
This information should be included in a 1 page minimum write
up, typed in paragraph form using complete sentences.
Check/proofread for spelling and grammar.
