FCA Banquet
Huge turnout for the annual Fall Fundraising Banquet on Tuesday November 3 at
Highland Community Church in Wausau. Over 300 people in attendance, 40 full
tables, great meal, and our speaker, Jeff Duke, sent everyone home truly inspired with
what God is doing in the world of sports.
Thank you to every table sponsor, to every volunteer, to all who donated silent auction
items, to everyone who bid, to those who pledged and donated to FCA to fund this
ministry in North Central WI., and to everyone who came! Thank you to the Fletcher
family and Bob's Catering and Highland Community Church for making it possible for
FCA to host such a great event.
Combining sponsorships, donations, and silent auction, over $29,000 was raised!!!

Get ready for some changes with FCA here in North Central WI. We will soon be
blessed with two new staff members to help serve our large and growing area of FCA
ministry. Please welcome and support DeDe Gibbs from Port Edwards and Russ

Marathon FCA
A few weeks ago on of the Marathon
coaches was hurt in a car accident, on the
night of a Marathon Volleyball game. After
the game many gathered for a prayer circle
on the gym floor to pray for him. The next
morning the weekly huddle had a record 65
students show up! FCA at its finest! Praise
God the coach was not seriously hurt and it
brought many together in prayer and FCA.
DC Everest Middle School
The FCA huddle got together to help
pack back packs for the Blessing in the
Backpack. They packed 50 bags in
record time! Thank you DCE MS!
Edgar Middle School Operation Christmas Shoebox
Eight girls and one boy went on a shopping spree to fill nine shoeboxes for Operation
Christmas. The boy used some of his birthday money. An anonymous Edgar teacher
gave them a $100 gift card to use. They found the clerk at Hobby Lobby was once the
recipient of one of these shoeboxes when a young child. The manager of Dunkin
Donuts gave each student a gift card for doing this. The next day they met and packed
the shoeboxes, wrote a note to each child, and prayed for each child that would
receive these shoeboxes. FCA core value of Serving at its finest! Thank EMS FCA! All
FCA huddles were encouraged to get involved with OCC this year and some didPittsville (14); Auburndale (13); Athens (17); DCE JH (4).

Christmas and Year End Giving
Once again it is a time of Thanksgiving and also for Giving. We are thankful for all the
support we receive in prayers, volunteers, and donations. We could not do this
ministry without you! THANK YOU! With the expanding staff we will be asking for more
prayers and of course more funding. The banquet really was a great boost but at least
$70,000 will be needed to meet the revised budget. Help us finish the year 2015 with
another $20,000 or more so we can bring DeDe and Russ on staff sooner the better.
All year end gifts for 2015 must be dated by 12-31-2015 and in our office by 12-292015 to be mailed to FCA in time for 2015 tax receipting. THANK YOU for your
support of FCA!!!
Aluminum Cans
Thank you to everyone who donates aluminum cans to the FCA camp scholarship
fund. We have 4 drop off sites in Wausau for your convenience. Price of aluminum is
down so we need more cans to keep pace with all the camp scholarships we cover
(108 last summer or close to $11,000). Schultz's Recycling will also take other salvage
donations at their recycling center, 1000 Mcdonald St. 54403; 715-355-7667.

Huddle Spotlight
We have 50 huddles actively meeting so far this school year! Praise
God! Pray for all the huddle leader volunteers who help make this
possible. We have numerous other huddles looking to start once we
find or God provides adult volunteers at their respective schools. Here
are a couple of huddles that we have pictures of to show you what is
happening to the glory of God.
