Market Info
Gate to Plate Festivale is an all-weather outdoor market held at the Grafton
Showground incorporating The Barn and surrounds.
VISITOR INFORMATION
Gates open to the public from 9am. Close of day 3.00pm(ish)
Sorry NO DOGS allowed in the Market.
Disability access and Toilets available.

Booking confirmation:
Calls are returned from 9am to 8pm from that Monday to Friday of that same week
and a site discussed and a site number allocated, pending availability of stall and the
markets requirements. Detailed directions & times and any further questions will be
answered on that call.
Insurance:
Insured traders only admitted, and must show a certificate of currency from the
insurer & must be a minimum $10 million cover.

Stallholder vehicle access
Stallholder sites finalised.
All stall holder vehicles to have vacated the site.
Note: Sites not occupied by 9.00am will be re-allocated by Market Manager and filled by
a replacement stall.
Queue at gate indicated when pre-booking.
Market Manager reserves the right to locate as required any stallholder.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Vehicles






No vehicles to enter Market after 8am or prior to 3.30pm.
No unauthorised vehicles or trailers to remain in Market.
Limit speed within the Market Park to WALKING PACE.
Keep parking around the Market perimeter clear for Market visitors.
Directives from Market Staff when within Market and on entry & departure to be
obeyed.
All vehicles to vacate Market as may be required/advised.
Licences

Stallholders must carry and clearly display appropriate licences as required by
local, state or federal laws and G2P Guidelines were applicable e.g. food
handlers,
Food Traders









All operators are to clearly display all required licences/certificates etc for
Clarence Valley Councils Health Inspector or equivalent authority.
All traders to provide recyclable containers, utensils, cups etc
All Heating appliances/fryers etc to be out of reach of public.
All electrical appliances and leads to be regularly inspected by a qualified
electrician for compliance with OH&S requirements and tagged accordingly.
All gas bottles, appliances and lines to be regularly inspected by a qualified
person for compliance with OH&S requirements and tagged accordingly.
Cleaning/hygiene facilities to be provided.
Random checks from the Health Department can be expected.
Responsible for all rubbish removal from sites.
Responsible for removal and disposal of all grey water.
Electricity








All power cords to be at least 3m above ground.
All electrics to be regularly inspected by a qualified electrician for compliance with
OH&S requirements and tagged accordingly.
Stallholders cannot increase equipment/power use without prior application.
Stallholders should carry appropriate safety equipment e.g. extinguishers etc.
Stallholders to keep and maintain safety check log from electrician.
Stallholders will be allocated a (one) power point; please do not plug in anywhere
else.
Stallholders not complying will be disconnected.
A fee is applicable for power.
Conduct & Conflict Resolution




As a Community Market we ask that everyone conduct themselves in a cordial
and mutually respectful manner..
Any issues, disputes or grievances between stallholders or with G2P
Management &/or Staff should be brought to the Market Manager’s attention for
resolution.
Management will deny attendance to, or remove from the Market any stallholder
behaving in a manner considered to be dangerous or offensive to the public or
that is deemed to reflect badly on the reputation of G2P or contravenes G2P
Guidelines or is in breach of law.
If you wish to dispute a Management decision you can do so by addressing a
letter to the, The Secretary, The Gallery Foundation PO Box 825, Grafton NSW
2464
Waste & Recycling
G2P Festivale actively supports the environment, encouraging waste minimisation
and recycling through our Waste Management Scheme.
You are asked to minimise unnecessary packaging, use only recyclable containers,
cups, straws, utensils etc and encourage customers to dispose of these in the
correct coloured bin.
General Guidelines









Market Manager to be advised on any changes being considered to product lines
other than those originally noted on application form.
All stallholders are responsible for leaving site clear and rubbish free before
departing.
A site is allocated by the Manager who reserves the right to relocate that site if
required.
No Cats or Dogs on Market Day.
No animals or livestock can be sold
No Open Fires
Market Manager reserves the right to deny access to G2P Festivale to any
stallholder on the grounds of product/service, safety, health, space restrictions
within park or guidelines breach.
The G2P Market Manager reserves the right to alter times, sites, guidelines at
little or no notice.

Postponement & Cancellation Policy due to Bad Weather

We are an all weather event. G2P FESTIVALE will only cancel if public safety
or the showgrounds would be at risk by proceeding.


Stallholders to provide their own weather protection e.g. sun and rain protection.
If the market is threatened by and consequently postponed by inclement weather,
the market is cancelled and stall fee refunded.
Final decision in regards to postponement or cancellation (due to inclement
weather patterns) will be made on the morning of the market.
Market Manager will check ground conditions, consult with committee & staff, as
well as gauge response from stallholders, prior to decision making.
If market postponed/cancelled manager will contact all major radio stations and
place announcement to that effect, as well as alter message on phone answering
system.
Decision will be made no later than 7am on the morning of the market.
If the market goes ahead on an inclement day, and you choose not to attend, you
will be recorded as not attending and stall fees will not be refunded.
It is always the stall holders responsibility to notify the Market Manager prior to
the market if they are not attending any reason.
Stallholders should contact Market Manager no later than a week prior to the
market if they plan on not attending, 50% refund will be given.
Stallholders not notifying us by the designated time and day will not have their
fees refunded.








