CRITERIA FOR STALLHOLDERS ATTENDING SAVOUR KILKENNY 2016 Please read carefully and retain a copy for your information ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ ❏ Trading Times are as follows; Time of Arrival: Saturday 29th October between 6am - 9am Sunday 30th October between 6am - 9am Market Times: Saturday 29th October 10.30am to 6pm Sunday 30th October 10.30am to 6pm All stalls must be open and ready to trade at these times & must be packed up by 7pm. Stallholders bringing their own marquee must dismantle each day. Stallholders retain 100% of sales income. Stallholders must comply with all HSE requirements for food handling and vending on site. Stallholders must comply with all relevant food safety, health, safety & fire regulations. Stallholders must bring a first aid kit to meet risk applicable to their stall. Traders must supply their own cooking and refrigeration equipment along with utensils and packaging. Electrical appliances to be used MUST be specified on the application form and cannot change without notification to the organisers, at least one week before the event. Space will be allocated by the organisers in the overall best interests of the market. Please note that the organisers decision is final. Traders must produce, or add value to, everything they are selling. Due to unprecedented demand, we cannot guarantee that previous participants in the Food Market will be allocated a space. A company employee familiar with all products must be on site throughout the event. This would preferably be the producer. The Food Market aims to recreate a real market feel and the companies present must reflect this. The organizers reserve the right to restrict the number of stallholders in a particular product category in order to ensure that a wide variety of food is on offer at the market. This is in the interest of all traders, to ensure adequate trade for all; a wide variety of foods will also make the market more appealing to the public. Please note that in the best interest of the market, there is a limit to the number of companies in product each of the following food categories. ❖ BAKERY (Breads, cakes, buns, tarts, etc) ❖ MEAT (Fresh, processed, cured etc) ❖ DAIRY (Cheese, yoghurts, smoothies, etc) ❖ BEVERAGES (Juices, dry teas, dry coffees etc) ❖ CONFECTIONERY (Chocolates, sweets, biscuits, etc.) ❖ FISH PRODUCTS (Smoked, fresh, pates, shellfish etc) ❖ CONDIMENTS/PRESERVES/OILS (Jams, sauces, chutneys, honeys, oils etc) ❖ STREET FOOD (food prepared or cooked at the stall, ready to eat) ❖ ETHNIC FOOD (non-Irish food originating from a specific heritage or culture, such as Indian, Italian, Greek food etc.)
