TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Bookings
Stalls can be requested but are allocated by the Saddleworth Creative Network.
To give the customers the best and most varied experience, we rotate some traders at the fairs.
Please note that you are not booked until a final booking form and full payment is received.
Presently, stalls are £25 per stall per day which is payable in full in advance.
Please send payment with the booking form either by cheque payable to Claire Hilton or by Paypal to
sunshineno3@yahoo.com.
Bank Transfers can be made to – 20-64-12 - 13624536
Please ensure that on all payments you reference your name, business name and which fair is being paid for so that
we can allocate the payment.
This system is subject to change, stall fees may increase.
Cancellations Policy
Cancellations will be accepted 10 working days prior to the event and a full refund will be issued. If within 10 days of
an event a cancellation of a booking can be filled by another trader, then a transfer of fee to another event may be
arranged otherwise after this time without extenuating circumstances and your payment will be lost. Please contact
me if you cannot attend on the day of the event or will arrive late.
Items for Sale
Items for sale should be handmade and produced by the stall holder and/or of a creative nature. We do not accept
mass produced products or franchise stalls. If you are unsure please contact us for more details.
We ask new stallholders to provide pictures of their product where possible.
Demonstrations and Workshops
Providing a craft/business demonstration or workshop for customers to watch or join in with you is encouraged as this
provides a great experience for the customer. Please contact us if you need anything to facilitate this.
Documents
It is your responsibility as a trader to have all the relevant required documents up to date and in place for your
particular trade/craft/business. SCN may ask to see these documents at any point during the booking process. This
includes insurance, hygiene certificates, and other specific documents depending on your particular product.
Public Liability Insurance
It is highly recommended that all stallholders have their own public liability insurance of up to £5 million, as no
responsibility will be taken for any damages, theft or accidents.
Health & Safety
For health and safety reasons all stalls must be set up at least 15 minutes before the Fair starts, and not dismantled
before the Fair ends. If you are going to be late on the day, please phone prior to the event starting.
Please do not extend your stalls or place products to the side or front of the table provided as this can restrict
movement and cause tripping hazards.
Stalls
You will be provided with a 6ft table or similar. If you prefer to bring your own stall display/stand options or table
please notify in advance and we can facilitate this.
Occasionally you may be asked to provide your own table but will be notified in advance.
All stalls must look well presented, and covered with floor length cloth or similar.
Facilities and requests
On arrival a plan will indicate your stall, which will also be indicated with the name of the stallholder.
We will endeavour to ensure tables are provided (approx 6ft long)
We will try and meet all requests on the booking form, need electricity, besides a wall etc but remind traders that
these are not always possible.
