There is plenty of news to pass on, so let’s jump right in!
This Wednesday, October 28th is an Early Release Day! Please
plan on picking students up at 12:40.
A quick reminder: although we will be having parties in the
afternoon on Friday, students are not permitted to dress up.
Thank you for your support!
However, please also be aware that there are a few
organizations hosting Halloween parties for kids! For more
information, please stop by our office!
On November 4th, we will be offering a GoMath! Online
Information Night. For any parents who would like to learn
more about how to use the many online tools, this night
should be extremely informative! We will be breaking it into
two tutorial sessions:
o K-2 (4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.)
o 3-5 (5:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.)
o Please know, however, that we are always happy to
accommodate your schedule and would be thrilled for
you to attend, whichever time works best!
We will have a Bruin PRIDE Assembly next Friday, November
6th at 2:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!
Next week (November 2-6) is Red Ribbon Week. That is a
time for us as a school to reinforce a message of avoiding
drugs and alcohol and taking good care of our bodies. Going
along with that overall message, we’ll have the following
dress-up days:
o Monday – Red Ribbon Day (wear red clothes)
o Tuesday – Put a Cap on Drugs (wear a hat)
o Wednesday – Sock it to Drugs (wear crazy socks)
o Thursday – Friends Don’t Let Friends do Drugs (twin
day – wear matching clothes with another student)
o Friday – Team Up Against Drugs (wear the clothes of
your favorite sports team or teams)
If your child is out due to illness, please call our office by
8:30 a.m. It saves us a call and helps our school run smoothly!
