Good Afternoon Parents:
Red Ribbon Week 2019 is approaching! During Red Ribbon Week (October 21st–25th), students
will engage in activities that promote a drug free and healthy lifestyle. This year’s theme is:
“Send A Message: Stay Drug Free!”
Please partner with us and discuss this message at home, at the dinner table, at family outings,
and with friends and extended family. Please see the schedule of activities for Red Ribbon
Week below.

What is Red Ribbon Week? Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and
violence prevention awareness campaign annually in October in the United States.
MONDAY

Wear RED
Students and staff may wear RED to promote
a drug-free lifestyle
TUESDAY

Drugs!”
Students and staff may Wear Hats and
Sunshades to support Red Ribbon Week
Wear Crazy Socks
THURSDAY

Wear your favorite College Paraphernalia
FRIDAY
"Blackout Drugs!"
Students and staff may wear all-black attire
(Staff wear your Drug-Free T-Shirts.)
