Class Activities & News
The 100th day of school is scheduled for February 7th. Please
begin thinking of a collection of 100 things your child can bring
in to show. The collection needs to be able to be transported
in their book bags to school. These collections can be sent in
any time you have them ready. Thanks for helping. We have
been counting to the 100th day of school since the first day of
school. Excitement is building in anticipation!
In the Language Arts center this week we cut out
letter hearts to spell out our first and last name. In
the Math center we cut out hearts to make colored
patterns. In Art center we made a Valentine gift for
you. In the listening center we listened to alphabet
songs. We also had time on the computers working
with Kindergarten readiness skills.
In the parent activity we made flags and hats in honor

Birthday and Star of the Week News
Kadyn Cochran was our star of the week this week. Kadyn’s
Mom shared a story with us this week. Kadyn brought in
different, favorite toys each day. We really enjoyed seeing
her Leap pad! Kadyn’s Dad was able to bring in their dog to
visit us, too. It was great getting to know Kadyn better!
Jilian Jones will be our star of the week February 6 – 10th!
