Ken Sedziol, Duke Energy Meeting called to order by Theo at 5:02 pm. IEEE mandatory legal slides were reviewed. Old Business: Minutes from the January meeting in Memphis were reviewed and approved by the attendees. New Business: Kevin Little, the former secretary of 1250 has taken another job. Dave Zech with Duke Energy was nominated to be secretary by acclamation. Theo asked for nominations for vice chair; none were received. He will recruit. The new IAS-written IEEE1668 standard on voltage sags for equipment under 1000 V, was discussed. Theo showed a proposed table of standards used in the 1250 guide. Attendees agreed that having this table in the future document was desirable. The group discussed having performance targets in the document along side limits. Some of the latest EPRI DPQ study would be useful in the next 1250 revision. Concern was expressed about 1250 becoming a specification document. We should stay away from that. A summary of the EPRI document might be useful. The relationship between power quality and smart grid was discussed. The relationship between electromagnetic compatibility and power quality was discussed. 1 Panel sessions and combo sessions were discussed.
