NORTHERN TIER CAREER CENTER COSMETOLOGY SUMMER SESSION
The State Board of Cosmetology requires that students complete 1250 hours of instruction prior to testing.
Students registering for Cosmetology are required to attend two summer sessions to complete the program. The
first required session is during the summer prior to their junior year and the second session during the summer
prior to their senior year. Attendance during the summer sessions is vital to completion of required time. If
hours are not completed at the conclusion of the secondary level, students may return as an adult learner, if
space is available. All adult learners are charged tuition.
