Worked with Srinivasa Sales and Service Pvt. Ltd, Hyderabad, India Authorised CUMMINS Dealer in AP, as a Senior Service Manager. Since January - 2012 till Dec 2012.

Responsibilities: Directs and coordinates the activities of the Service Department to schedule repair work, maximize sales opportunities, and provide excellent customer service. Monitors specific performance indicators/ AOP to make sure the customer experience exceeds expectation while running a safe and efficient operation by performing the following duties.

· Communicates with the customer to determine customer's concerns, problems or needs - present and future - while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.

· Matches customer needs with product and service offerings and proposes solutions, maximizing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.

· Uses technical background to act as a liaison between customers and field engineers to determine work to be performed, quote prices and credit terms with a high degree of accuracy, and obtain customers' authorization to proceed.

· Follow up of work orders in the computer by gathering important details regarding the customer and the equipment being serviced, including warranty and/or billing information and developing the customer complaint to aid in diagnosis.

· Verifies all worked performed and documented on the field service report and confirms that the technician write-up is sufficient to create a customer invoice or to file a warranty claim. Makes sure that cores taken from the jobs are returned to the proper staging area for return to suppliers

· Completes and closes service work orders by accurately documenting all work performed, and processes customer payments in any of the acceptable forms, assuring that credit and warranty policies are followed.

· Builds and maintains customer relationships.

· Evaluates the skills and abilities of all Engineers and discusses their progress with them on a regular basis. Makes training available to all technicians to move them up the learning curve and to keep them current with new technology.

· Work with Branch Managers on utilizing and maintaining shared resources, including technicians and parts personnel, engine and equipment by recommending and/or approving department expenditures.

· Works with outside product and service sales representatives to solve customers' problems, quote potential start-ups and repair work, keep customer commitments and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
