Stanley Schwartz Stanley N. Schwartz, MD, FACP, FIDSA is a 1971 graduate of New York University School of Medicine. He did residency training in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and following a tour of duty in the United States Air Force from 1973-1975, did fellowship training from 1975 to 1977 at the University of Pittsburgh. He practiced infectious diseases medicine from 1977 to 2004 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was also hospital epidemiologist for Saint Francis Hospital. In 2004, he became Medical Director for Warren Clinic, a 350+ provider organization that is part of Saint Francis Health System, until 2013. In 2013 he became Medical Director for Special Projects and was responsible for the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative at Warren Clinic until 2014. He currently serves as a healthcare/medical consultant for The Holmes Organisation and is a Principal at Tallgrass Analytics LLC in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Disease Society of America and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals. Stanley Schwartz, MD, obtained his BS from the University of Pittsburgh and his MD from New York University School of Medicine. After service in the US Air Force followed by internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at University of Pittsburgh, he entered practice at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He later served as hospital epidemiologist at Saint Francis and as medical director for Warren Clinic in the Saint Francis Health System for 10 years. He now serves as healthcare consultant for The Holmes Organisation and Tallgrass Analytics LLC in Tulsa. His main interests are clinical quality improvement, value-based purchasing, patient experience and population health. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Diseases Society of American and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. He is currently Vice-President of Oklahoma Center for Healthcare Improvement. He organized and serves as director of WellOK, the Northeastern Oklahoma Business Coalition on Health.
