St. Vincent Ferrer is pleased to host the after-school Language Program again for 2013-2014!! This program will be progressive in nature and will allow participants to engage in a year long in-depth approach to learning.
Program
Classes will be taught by caring and enthusiastic teachers from the Cincinnati Spanish Academy (CSA).
The Academy’s mission is to provide an enriching lesson complete with songs, stories, listening exercises and interactive activities. This developmental, yet creative approach to learning encourages involvement from all who participate. Visit www.cincinnatispanishacademy.com

Admission:
Students from K – 6 th grade for the 2013-2014 school year can enroll in the program. Spanish classes will be offered weekly on Thursdays after school from 3:05 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.
There will be a maximum of 14 students per class. Classes will run with a minimum of seven students per class. Children will be grouped by age and experience depending on enrollment. Students will receive 24 lessons beginning September 26th, 2013 and finishing in April 2014. Program observes school breaks and holidays. (Snow days/cancellations will be made up at the end of the sessions.)
Tuition:
The cost for the entire program will be $250. There is a $25 discount for each additional sibling. This fee will cover the cost of instruction and materials. A payment plan is available to make the costs more manageable and allow more families the opportunity to participate.
Registration:
To register, please visit www.cincinnatispanishacademy.com/SVF to complete the online registration and payment (online payment is available by check or credit card). Payments can be made monthly for up to 3 months and can start as late as Sept 9 th . Registrations must completed by September 9th.

Spanish Language Program

Registration after September 9th may not guarantee enrollment due to space constraints.

Tuition cost for Spanish for 24 weeks is $250. There is a $25 discount for each additional sibling.
Parents may choose to pay for the program in up to 3 monthly installments and to begin the payments as late as September 9th. To enroll, the online registration must be completed by Sep
9th. $50 is considered a registration fee and is NON-refundable if your child is withdrawn prior to the first class. Enrollment into the language program is for the entire 24 weeks. We do not offer refunds. If you withdraw your child at any point during the year, you will be charged the full amount for the classes.

Classes will meet on the dates as designated on the language program calendar. Please note that the calendar observes all St. Vincent Ferrer holidays. (This is emailed with your confirmation of enrollment into the class.) First day of classes will begin on Thursday September 26 th , 2013. In the event school is cancelled or school is delayed, language classes will be canceled. A make up day will be re-scheduled at the end of the session and parents will be notified.

Class will begin promptly at 3:05p.m. and finish at 3:50 pm. For the students’ safety, parents must pick up their child(en) on time. Note: St. Vincent Ferrer is not responsible for students after class time. Late pick up will be given 1 warning followed by removal from the program without refund. Our teachers also have families and commitments, so please respect their time and arrive on time.
5.
Minimum enrollment for the Spanish class is seven students. Families will be notified immediately if there is not enough participation to hold the class, and payments will be fully refunded.
6.
Students will be placed in classes by grade level as well as Spanish language level. The best attempt will be made to keep students closest in age together.
7.
Students who do not follow appropriate school behavior guidelines may be dismissed from the language program. Refunds will not be given.
8.
Food allergies or other medical conditions should be noted on the registration form. Please note: CSA staff CANNOT administer medication or epi pens.
9.
If a child requires special educational assistance, it will be the parent’s responsibility to pay for the additional help during the language program.
