Fashion Costuming Program Costuming is an interdisciplinary program in fashion, drama and art designed to provide students with design and sewing skills applied to costuming for the stage, film and television, period or theme parks. Students will experience actual costume design and production for the MPC Theater. The Costuming Program offers courses and practical experience in the skills which are essential in costume design. Career opportunities in costuming for the stage, film and television, and period or theme parks are numerous. Combine your interests and talents by examining the creative and technical aspects of costuming. Not all courses are offered every semester. Students are encouraged to consult with counselors and instructors about their educational goals and career aspirations so that appropriate classes may be recommended. Course descriptions are available at www.mpc.edu and in the MPC Catalog.
