Exempt Position Summary: The position provides professional medical services within the scope of licensing and certification by the State of Nevada Board of Nursing. This position will perform all essential, professional services consistent with the goals of assisting patients to maintain or increase their levels of health and wellness. Duties: Interviews patients and family members, and consults with attending physicians, as appropriate, to determine and evaluate preventative, remedial, or maintenance care. Performs patient screening and triage and consults with attending physician as appropriate on diagnosis and evaluation. Conducts on-site treatment and emergency procedures including the administration of medications, provides immediate medical assistance in acute, or emergent cases. Provides continuum of care through patient education, counseling, and guidance. Maintains records and reports regarding patient care, treatment or diagnosis, follow-up activities, and other related information. Reviews and interprets tests and other findings with appropriate follow-up. Participates in the management of chronic care conditions. Provides guidance and counseling to patients and family members on prevention as well as curative and rehabilitative measures. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in Advanced Practitioner of Nursing or Physician Assistant. Exempt Position Summary: The Physician performs primary outpatient family & pediatric medical care services within the scope of his/her license and training to include obtaining patient information, diagnosing, developing appropriate treatment plan, monitoring patient compliance, and assisting patient in understanding their disease process. Provides services consistent with the stated goals of assisting community members maintain or increase their level of health by various medical practices or routines. Duties: Interview patients and family members and consults appropriate medical specialists, and other staff members to determine and evaluate the kind of health and physical care required. Reviews and interprets findings to distinguish between normal and abnormal condition during patient screening including diagnosing, and monitoring of patient compliance. Carries out treatment and emergencies or other procedures required, administer medications, observe and document patient’s conditions, changes reactions to medications and medical treatment. Provides guidance and counseling to patients and families on prevention, curative and rehabilitative measure involving health care. Position Summary: Under the direction of the Substance Abuse Program Supervisor, the incumbent shall conduct comprehensive substance abuse treatment appropriate for designated individuals and groups, and provides counseling and follow-up services. Duties: Screens, assesses and evaluates clients for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders by using case history, observation, and chemical dependency/mental health assessment tools; provides direct counseling and referral services for clients; develops individual treatment, intervention, recovery and discharge plans provides individual and/or group psycho educational therapy which may include but is not limited to: relapse intervention prevention, medication education, relationship building, D.U.I. education/prevention, communication skills, anger management, problem solving and other techniques deploying culturally based interventions such as the 12-step and Medicine Wheel Teachings provides referrals/assists clients seeking funding for residential inpatient programs, completion of court orders and referrals, court evaluations and other outside agencies; participate in community outreach activities, provide alcohol drug abuse related in service education to other tribal programs, the RSIC community, and agencies/organizations in the Reno-Sparks area; coordinates and manages reintegration of clients into their community, work, and family lives; manages and monitors caseload and required documentation using computerized record maintenance system (Electronic Health Records – E.H.R./Behavioral Health Graphical User Interface – G.U.I. – systems); prepares all required reports and other documents as required and assigned; and and other duties as assigned. Exempt Position Summary: The position is responsible for leading employees assigned to the maintenance and upkeep of the RSIC Health Clinic (65,000 square feet) and the grounds of the property. The nature of the position requires the application of a variety of skills, including, but not limited to carpentry, painting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC systems), operations, maintenance of clinic equipment, and repairs. Duties: Schedules, monitors, evaluates, coaches, and trains subordinates to ensure completion of assigned work projects; Coordinates activities among the Public Works department, the Health Center, and outside contractors; Prepares and submits purchasing requisitions to ensure adequate equipment, supplies, replacement parts and tools to ensure completion of specific tasks and; projects; prepared purchase orders and reviews service agreements for Contractors; Maintains grounds including drip and sprinkler systems, landscaping, and general cleanup; Sets up and breaks down any special events held inside or outside the Health Center complex; Serves on the safety Committee, performs direct safety activities in accordance with RSIC Safety policies and programs, and intervenes in the case of emergencies; Applies codes and regulations (plumbing, electrical, UBC, or applicable Tribal or Federal codes) to ensure mandatory building and repair specifications; Serves as representative to prospective contractors and bidders to discuss technical, design, or facility maintenance issues and projects; Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years in a professional supervisory capacity, providing leadership and direction, scheduling, training and performance feedback to subordinates to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks; Knowledge, evidenced by prior work experience, of skills needed to communicate construction and maintenance information, develop proposals for service work, renovation, repair, and construction, and direction for bid process, budget expenditures, inventory management, and work requests. Position Title: Department: Supervisor: Status: FLSA: Psychatrist Reno-Sparks Tribal Health Center Behavioral Health Director Regular, Part-time: Less than 30 Hours per work week Exempt Position Summary: This position shall perform Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Services for the Patients of the Reno-Sparks Tribal Health Center to persons scheduled by the RSTHC Behavioral Health Division. Duties: Interviews, counsels, and performs psychiatric assessments and follow up medication management visits for patients who are scheduled by the clinic staff, and consults with appropriate medical specialists and other staff members; The psychiatrist provides specialized psychotropic medication management and • differential psychiatric diagnosis as an independent medical contractor. All services will be provided with respect for cultural and social values of Native American patients whom we serve; The adult psychiatric services provided shall include diagnosis, treatment plan • and monitoring of changes needed and all other such care as may be deemed appropriate for our outpatient setting; Carries out treatment and emergencies, administer medications, observe and • documents patient's conditions in electronic health record (EHR).
