What misconceptions do you think students might have?
If students do not grasp the concept of Cubism they will not be able to successfully execute a Self Portrait using the characteristics of Ceron. I
think they may have difficulty breaking up their portrait in different plains. In addition they may have difficulty filling the space with personal
imagery.
What will you do to address the misconceptions to move student learning forward? (E.g., how will you adjust instruction, what descriptive feedback will
you provide)?
Student's preliminary sketches should indicate understanding. A class demonstration may be needed. I will have a checklist as well as samples
of Ceron's Portraits for visual aid.
