Daily Student Announcements
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Senior Graduation Reminder: Attention Neenah Seniors! Herff Jones will be taking cap & gown
and graduation orders by the lunch room Monday and Tuesday during lunch periods. Please be sure
to order on time by ordering in person or online. All apparel ordered online before Nov. 8th will be
delivered on Nov. 9th & 10th. Please note handling is not being charged for orders only consisting of
a cap, gown, tassel unit only. Tax of 5% is still applied If you order only a cap, gown, and tassel
unit online, the handling & tax will be credited back within approximately 2 weeks.
Attention All Business Students!! Tuesday, November 10th is our field trip to Stevens Point.
Please plan to meet in parking lot D by the technology center doors by 7:15 a.m. Remember to dress
business casual (No ties, open-toed shoes or dresses).
Attention all Freshmen and Sophomores, Business Academy Applications are due by
Thanksgiving. The next window of opportunity will be in the spring. If you need an application, see
Mrs. Labbus or Mr. McDonald. Remember Sophomores, if you want to be a member, you have until
the end of your sophomore year.
Fundraiser for the Animal Shelter: students will be selling cupcakes, they will be charging 2 dollars
for each cupcake, and 50 cents for each apple. They will be selling them before and after school, on
the 18th, and 19th of November.

ORGANIZATIONS AND MEETINGS:
MONDAY:
The Debate Team will meet in the Library every Monday from 6pm-8pm. (Scotty Thurwachter)
Knitting Club meets Mondays from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm in room 322. (Mrs. Uvaas)
The Urban Farm Club will meet on Mondays in room 404. (Mrs. Dorschner or Mrs. Rogers)
The AFS Club meets on Monday after school in room 164B from 3:25-3:45. (Mrs. Counter)
Anime Club meets on Mondays in room 200 after school. (Mrs. Hoff)
TUESDAY:
SEA Club will be meeting on Tuesday mornings at 7:20 am in room 164B. (Mrs. Counter)
Student Council meets on Tuesday, at 7:15 am in the Conant Little Theater. (Mr. Laluzerne)
Art Club meets every Tuesday at 3:20 pm in room 420. (Mrs. Mullard)
The Chess Club will be meeting every Tuesday after school until 4:30 p.m. in the Apollo commons.
The Eco Club will be meeting the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. (Mrs. Vanderkolk)
Drama Club - Meets every other Tuesday at 3:30 pm in the Green Room. (Mr. Aaron Hoffman)
The Culinary Club will meet Tuesday, at 3:30 pm in room 418. (Mrs. Garbe)
Yoga Club meets Tuesdays from 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm in room 144. (Ms. Bork)
WEDNESDAY:
The Satellite (school newspaper) meets in room 134 on Wednesdays after school. (Mrs. Plankey)
Yearbook meets on Weds. after school in the Career Center, rm 322. (Mrs. Joch or Mrs. Walter)
Latino Club Meets Wednesdays at 3:20 pm in room 326. (Mrs. Torres)

Bass Fishing Club - meets on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in room 148. (Mr. Jones)
French Club - Nov. 11 - will be having a crepe party at 7:00 am in Madame's room (324).

Key Club meets every other Thursday, at 7:15 am in the Conant Little Theater. (Mrs. Garbe)

CONGRATULATIONS:
GIRLS SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Rockets captured their eighth consecutive WIAA sectional
championship, totaling 324 points to outscore Appleton North by 13 points. Neenah had four event
champions who earned automatic berths to this weekend’s state meet.

SPORTS NEWS:

*There will be a final Wrestling team pre-season meeting on Monday November 9th at 4:00 P.M. in
Coach Rundquists Room #202. All individuals planning on wrestling during the 2015-2016 season
must be in attendance.
*The wrestling hydration testing will take place on Tuesday November 10th at 4:00 in the varsity
locker room. All team members must be plan to be present for the testing. Make-Up hydration
testing is scheduled for Thursday November 12th.
