Check for more information String Ensemble rehearsals will take place every Thursday and Friday during homeroom in Room 8. There will be a JV Mathletes competition today, Nov. 11 after school in Room 223. Please be prompt. We will be holding a fall planting and clean-up on Saturday, November 15th. Let’s get together and make our school look fabulous for the fall! Dads, brothers and boyfriends are welcome! Any questions, please see Mr. Prendergast. On Veteran's Day, there will be a bulletin board in the cafeteria dedicated to honoring our veterans and active -duty service men and women. Please write notes of encouragement and/or bring pictures to decorate the bulletin board. In conjunction with Veteran's Day, St. Hubert's Down to Earth Club and CSC will also be holding a coat drive during the weeks of Nov. 11 to Nov. 21. New or gently used coats will be given to the U.S. Veterans Multi-Service Center for homeless veterans and their families. Coats can be dropped off in the cafeteria, in Father Check's office or in the Math Center. Thank you for your generosity. Any senior who did not hand in her paperwork for her cap and gown, please bring it to the Student Affairs Office after announcements. The next art club meeting will be tomorrow. We will be celebrating the month making dream catchers, corn husk dolls, and related projects. Girls remember to get your five week club tickets in. We are about $15,000 short of our goal of $75,000. We can do this! Remember, there is a day off from school within our reach. AND an ice cream party for the class with the highest percentage of tickets sold! All permission slips for the Junior Trip are due in room 123 by homeroom on Wednesday. Any upperclassman who did not sign up for softball must do so by Friday in room 123. If you are interested in playing intramural please take a roster form from the envelope hanging outside the Office of Student Affairs, fill it out and return it there by Tuesday, November 18. Games will begin either just before Thanksgiving or the week we return. No varsity basketball team member may play, but they may coach. Also, no more than 2 JV basketball players on a team (if necessary). The Beatles Club will not meet this Wednesday, November 12, because of department meetings.
