Although we are headquartered in Boston, our clients are located across the US. We are open to candidates interested
in either full time employment or contractor status. We are flexible on location – you may work remotely from any US
location, as long as you are able to travel to client locations at least 50%.

Contribute to the DevOps practice within our organization
Create and support sales activities
Maintain strong hands-on expertise and knowledge of current and emerging processes, techniques and tools

Desired Skills & Experience














Extensive experience in IT, leading Operations and Development teams
Experience in mentoring and executing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices
Strong technical foundation in a number of the following tools and technologies:

Linux and/or Windows

Virtualization (VMWare, Xen, KVM, VirtualBox)

Cloud computing (AWS, Google App Engine, Rackspace Cloud, Azure)

Infrastructure automation (Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible)
 Application servers, servlet containers, and web servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, Jetty, Nginx, Mongrel,
Microsoft IIS, Apache HTTP server)
 Configuration of database technologies (MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, Elasticache, MongoDB, Hadoop)
Security – Key management, secure protocols, intrusion detection and prevention tools, patch management,
port management
Operations – Logging (Splunk, Graylog, Kibana, logstash)
Monitoring – (Nagios, New Relic, Alert Logic, App Dynamics, Boundary)
Compliance – HIPAA, SOC2, PCI, FERPA
Familiarity with AWS APIs
 Compute & networking – EC2, ELB, VPC, Route53, Direct Connect
 Storage and CDN – S3, Glacier, EBS, Cloudfront, Storage Gateway
 Database – RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, RedShift, EMR
 Deployment & Management – Management console, CLI, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Beanstalk,
CloudFormation, OpsWorks
Awareness of ITIL/COBIT
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills on both technical and business topics
Excel at problem solving and have the ability to learn new skills quickly
Strong team skills including the ability to lead and be a team player
Ability to travel and work onsite at client locations at least 50%
Sense of humor a requirement!
